जिला सिरमौर के मुख्यालय नाहन में शांति संगम क्षेत्र से एक दर्दनाक खबर सामने आई है। यहां 25 वर्षीय पवन कुमार पुत्र अमर सिंह, निवासी दाना घाटों, तहसील संगड़ाह ने फंदा लगाकर अपनी जीवन लीला समाप्त कर ली। जानकारी के अनुसार पवन कुमार मूल रूप से सिरमौर के संगड़ाह क्षेत्र का रहने वाला था और जिला मंडी में एक ठेकेदार के पास बिजली के पोल गाड़ने का कार्य करता था। करीब चार दिन पहले वह नाहन आया था। हादसे के समय उसकी मां ही घर पर थी। बताया जा रहा है कि वह कल रात रेणुका जी से लौटकर घर आया और रात का भोजन करने के बाद सो गया।

सुबह जब उसकी मां ने चाय देने के लिए दरवाजा खटखटाया तो अंदर से कुंडी लगी हुई थी। काफी आवाज लगाने पर भी जब कोई प्रतिक्रिया नहीं मिली तो मां ने दरवाजे को हल्का धक्का देकर खोला। अंदर का दृश्य देख वह सन्न रह गई — पवन फंदे से झूल रहा था। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए नाहन मेडिकल कॉलेज भेजा गया। बाद में शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।

स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, पवन की पत्नी कुछ समय पहले उसे छोड़कर चली गई थी, जिसके बाद से वह मानसिक तनाव में रहता था और अक्सर चुपचाप रहने लगा था। प्रारंभिक जांच में मामला आत्महत्या का प्रतीत हो रहा है। हालांकि पुलिस ने कहा है कि वे सभी पहलुओं की गहन जांच कर रहे हैं। DSP नाहन रमाकांत ठाकुर ने मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि मृतक का पोस्टमार्टम करवाकर शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया है। आत्महत्या के कारणों की जांच जारी है।

Here 25-year-old Pawan Kumar, son of Amar Singh, resident of Dana Ghaton, Tehsil Sangrah, ended his life by hanging himself. According to the information, Pawan Kumar was originally a resident of Sangrah area of Sirmaur and worked for a contractor in Mandi district, erecting electric poles. He had come to Nahan about four days ago. At the time of the accident, only his mother was at home. It is being told that he returned home last night from Renuka Ji and went to sleep after having dinner.

In the morning, when his mother knocked on the door to give him tea, it was locked from inside. When she received no response even after calling out loudly, the mother pushed the door open. She was stunned by the scene inside: Pawan was hanging from a noose. Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it to Nahan Medical College for a post-mortem examination. The body was later handed over to the family.

According to locals, Pawan’s wife left him some time ago, after which he was under mental stress and often remained silent. Preliminary investigations suggest a case of suicide. However, police have stated that they are thoroughly investigating all aspects. DSP Nahan Ramakant Thakur confirmed the case and stated that the deceased’s body has been handed over to the family after a post-mortem examination. The investigation into the cause of suicide is ongoing.
