सिरमौर जिले के रामा स्थित राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय (GSSS Rama) की छात्रा हर्षिता शर्मा, पुत्री पवन कुमार ने जिला स्तरीय अंडर-14 एथलेटिक्स प्रतियोगिता में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए सर्वश्रेष्ठ एथलीट का खिताब अपने नाम किया है। हर्षिता ने प्रतियोगिता के दौरान लॉन्ग जंप में प्रथम स्थान और 200 मीटर दौड़ में भी पहला स्थान हासिल किया। उनके इस उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन ने न केवल विद्यालय बल्कि पूरे जिले का नाम रोशन किया। हर्षिता की इस सफलता में उनके शारीरिक शिक्षा शिक्षक अरुण कुमार का मार्गदर्शन भी अहम रहा। उन्होंने हर्षिता को लगातार प्रशिक्षित किया और प्रतियोगिता में बेहतर प्रदर्शन के लिए प्रेरित किया।

विद्यालय की ऑफिशिएटिंग प्रधानाचार्य, नीरजा शुक्ला ने हर्षिता की उपलब्धि पर गर्व व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि ऐसी प्रतिभाएँ ही विद्यालय और जिले का नाम राज्य और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर रोशन करती हैं। उन्होंने हर्षिता के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की शुभकामनाएँ दीं। अब हर्षिता आगामी राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता, जो कि धर्मशाला में आयोजित होगी, में सिरमौर जिले का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगी। इस उपलब्धि ने यह संदेश भी दिया कि मेहनत, लगन और अनुशासन से कोई भी छात्र/छात्रा खेल और शिक्षा दोनों क्षेत्रों में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन कर सकता है।

Harshita Sharma, daughter of Pawan Kumar, a student of Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS Rama) in Rama, Sirmaur district, has won the title of Best Athlete after performing brilliantly in the district level Under-14 Athletics Competition. Harshita secured first place in the long jump and also first place in the 200 meter race during the competition. Her excellent performance brought laurels not only to the school but to the entire district. The guidance of her physical education teacher, Arun Kumar, was also crucial in Harshita’s success. He continuously trained Harshita and inspired her to perform better in the competition.

The school’s officiating principal, Neerja Shukla, expressed pride in Harshita’s achievement and said that it is such talents that bring glory to the school and district at the state and national levels. She wished Harshita a bright future. Harshita will now represent Sirmaur district in the upcoming state-level competition, to be held in Dharamshala.
