पुलिस थाना रक्कड़ के तहत कुड़ना (सलेटी) पंचायत के 21 वर्षीय युवक की अचानक तबीयत खराब होने से मौत हो गई।‎ जानकारी के अनुसार सौरव धीमान पुत्र प्रमोद सिंह निवासी कुड़ना पुलिस भर्ती में सिलैक्ट न होने के चलते परेशान था। परिजनों ने पुलिस को दिए बयान में बताया है कि उनका बेटा बीते दिन पुलिस रिजल्ट आने से काफी परेशान रह रहा था। शुक्रवार रात को खाना खाने के बाद करीब 10 बजे कमरे में सोने चला गया। सौरव के पिता प्रमोद के मुताबिक कुछ देर बाद उनकी बेटी भाई के कमरे में गई तब सौरव को देखकर रोने लगी। जब वह और पत्नी कमरे में गए तो देखा कि सौरव की तबीयत काफी खराब थी।

आनन-फानन में उसे सिविल अस्पताल अम्ब ले गए, जहां डाक्टर ने सौरव को मृत घोषित कर दिया। ‎पिता प्रमोद के मुताबिक बेटे की मृत्यु पुलिस भर्ती के रिजल्ट में नम्बर न आने के कारण अत्यधिक परेशानी लेने के कारण हुई है। इसमें किसी अन्य व्यक्ति की कोई भी गलती नहीं है और न ही कोई शक जताया है।‎ उधर, थाना प्रभारी रक्कड़ संदीप पटियाल ने बताया कि सिविल अस्पताल देहरा में शव का पोस्टमार्टम करवाकर शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया है और छानबीन जारी है।

A 21-year-old youth of Kudna (Saleti) Panchayat under Police Station Rakkad died due to sudden illness. According to the information, Saurav Dhiman, son of Pramod Singh, resident of Kudna, was upset due to not getting selected in the police recruitment. In the statement given to the police, the family members have told that their son was very upset due to the police result coming the previous day. On Friday night, after having dinner, he went to sleep in the room at around 10 o’clock. According to Saurav’s father Pramod, after some time, when his daughter went to her brother’s room, she started crying after seeing Saurav. When he and his wife went to the room, they saw that Saurav’s health was very bad.

He was immediately taken to Civil Hospital Amb, where the doctor declared Saurav dead. According to father Pramod, his son died due to extreme distress over not getting a number in the police recruitment results. No one else is at fault, nor has he expressed any suspicion. Meanwhile, Station House Officer Rakkad Sandeep Patial said that after conducting a post-mortem at Civil Hospital Dehra, the body was handed over to the family, and the investigation is ongoing.
