पांवटा साहिब में पानी के टैंक में शव मिलने से सनसनी: जांच में जुटी पुलिस

बीते कल पांवटा साहिब में एक शव मिलने से सनसनी फ़ैल गयी। जानकारी के अनुसार ग्राम पंचायत कुंजा मतरालियो के उपप्रधान गुरमेल सिंह ने पुलिस को सूचना दी कि फॉरेस्ट नर्सरी के जंगल के बीच, बंगाला बस्ती के पास, पानी के टैंक में एक व्यक्ति मृत अवस्था में पड़ा मिला। इस घटना से पूरे क्षेत्र में सनसनी फैल गई। घटना स्थल पर पहुंचे अधिकारियों ने बताया कि शव लगभग 35 वर्ष उम्र का प्रतीत होता है और वहां से तेज बदबू आ रही थी, जिससे शव की स्थिति गंभीर रूप से सड़ चुकी थी। स्थानीय लोगों ने पुलिस को बताया कि शव लावारिस है और आसपास कोई भी उसे पहचान नहीं पाया। प्रारंभिक जानकारी के अनुसार, शव लगभग 15 दिन पुराना है।
अभी यह स्पष्ट नहीं है कि व्यक्ति ने स्वयं पानी के टैंक में गिरकर जान दी या किसी ने उसे वहाँ फेंका, यह जांच का विषय है। डीएसपी मानवेंद्र ठाकुर ने घटना की पुष्टि करते हुए कहा कि पुलिस गहन जांच में जुटी है। उन्होंने बताया कि शव की पहचान करने के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं और मामले की सभी पहलुओं की जांच की जा रही है। जांच के बाद ही यह स्पष्ट हो पाएगा कि यह आत्महत्या है या हत्या। पुलिस ने आसपास के निवासियों से अपील की है कि यदि किसी को इस मामले से संबंधित कोई जानकारी हो तो वह तुरंत स्थानीय पुलिस थाने को सूचित करें।

The discovery of a dead body in Paonta Sahib yesterday caused a sensation. According to reports, Gurmel Singh, deputy head of the village council, Kunja Mataralio, informed the police that a man was found lying dead in a water tank near the Bangla settlement, in the middle of the Forest Nursery forest. The incident sent shockwaves through the area. Officials arriving at the scene reported that the body appeared to be about 35 years old and a strong stench emanated from it, indicating severe decomposition. Locals told the police that the body was unclaimed and no one nearby identified it. Preliminary information suggests the body is approximately 15 days old.
It is not yet clear whether the man committed suicide by falling into the water tank or someone threw him there; this is a matter of investigation. DSP Manvendra Thakur confirmed the incident and said that the police are engaged in a thorough investigation. He said that efforts are being made to identify the body and all aspects of the case are being investigated. Only after the investigation will it be clear whether it was a suicide or a murder. Police have appealed to nearby residents that if anyone has any information related to this case, they should immediately inform the local police station.
