सिरमौर जिले के शिलाई उपमंडल में वीरवार को एक दुखद घटना घटी, जब मोबाइल चार्जर से करंट लगने से एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई। मामला ग्राम पंचायत धारवा के गांव कुफुटी का है। जानकारी के अनुसार, 49 वर्षीय फकीर चंद, पुत्र क्लियाराम, रात को अपने घर की रसोई में मोबाइल चार्ज करने के लिए चार्जर प्लग में लगाकर उसे चार्ज कर रहे थे। इसी दौरान अचानक करंट लगने से वह बेहोश होकर नीचे गिर पड़े। परिवार के लोग तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे और उन्हें इलाज के लिए अस्पताल ले जा रहे थे, लेकिन रास्ते में ही उनकी मृत्यु हो गई। मृतक अपने परिवार का एकमात्र कमाने वाला सदस्य थे, इसलिए इस घटना ने उनके घर को गहरे सदमे में डाल दिया। स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि फकीर चंद मेहनत-मजदूरी करके परिवार का पालन-पोषण करते थे, और उनके जाने से पूरे परिवार में असहनीय शोक फैला है। शिलाई थाना प्रभारी मोहिंदर सिंह ने घटना की पुष्टि की और बताया कि पुलिस ने भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 194 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है। शव का पोस्टमार्टम कर परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया है।

A tragic incident occurred on Thursday in the Shillai subdivision of Sirmaur district, where a man died after being electrocuted by a mobile phone charger. The incident occurred in Kufuti village, part of the Dharwa Gram Panchayat. According to reports, 49-year-old Fakir Chand, son of Kliaram, was charging his mobile phone in his kitchen at night. He was electrocuted and fell unconscious. Family members immediately rushed to the spot and were rushing him to the hospital for treatment, but he died on the way. The deceased was the sole breadwinner of his family, leaving the family in deep shock. Locals reported that Fakir Chand was a laborer, supporting his family, and his death has left the entire family in deep grief. Shillai Police Station Officer Mohinder Singh confirmed the incident and stated that the police have registered a case under Section 194 of the Indian Penal Code. The body has been handed over to the family after a post-mortem examination.
