राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई के रोड सेफ़्टी क्लब द्वारा सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने और जिम्मेदार यातायात व्यवहार को बढ़ावा देने हेतु एक परिचय कार्यक्रम (Induction Programme) का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत प्रो. राम लाल के स्वागत भाषण से हुई। उन्होंने मंच संचालन करते हुए विद्यार्थियों को कार्यक्रम के उद्देश्य और प्रासंगिकता से अवगत कराया। क्लब के संयोजक डॉ. संसार चंद ने क्लब की भूमिका, जिम्मेदारियों तथा सड़क सुरक्षा के महत्व पर विस्तारपूर्वक प्रकाश डाला।

उन्होंने कहा कि विद्यार्थी समाज में परिवर्तन के वाहक बन सकते हैं और सड़क सुरक्षा का संदेश घर-घर तक पहुँचा सकते हैं। कार्यक्रम को संवादात्मक बनाते हुए विद्यार्थियों ने यातायात नियमों से जुड़े प्रश्न पूछे। प्रश्नोत्तर सत्र ने आयोजन को और प्रभावी बना दिया। प्रो. अजय सिंह, वरिष्ठतम प्राध्यापक ने समापन टिप्पणी में कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन समाज में सुरक्षित यातायात संस्कृति स्थापित करने की दिशा में सराहनीय प्रयास हैं। कार्यक्रम में प्रो. रीना देवी और क्लब के अन्य सदस्यों का सहयोग रहा। इस अवसर पर 60 से अधिक विद्यार्थी उपस्थित रहे। सभी ने सड़क सुरक्षा शपथ ली और कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्रीय गान के साथ हुआ।

The Road Safety Club of Government College, Shillai, organized an induction program to raise awareness about road safety and promote responsible traffic behavior. The program began with a welcome address by Prof. Ram Lal. He moderated the session, informing students about the program’s purpose and relevance. Club coordinator Dr. Sansar Chand elaborated on the club’s role, responsibilities, and the importance of road safety.

He said that students can become agents of change in society and spread the message of road safety to every household. Making the program interactive, students asked questions related to traffic rules. The question-and-answer session made the event even more effective. In his closing remarks, Prof. Ajay Singh, the senior-most professor, said that such events are a commendable effort towards establishing a safe traffic culture in society. Prof. Reena Devi and other club members supported the program. More than 60 students were present. Everyone took the road safety pledge, and the program concluded with the national anthem.
