हिमाचल प्रदेश विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा 13 से 15 अक्टूबर, 2025 तक डॉ. यशवंत सिंह परमार राजकीय स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय, नाहन में आयोजित इंटर कॉलेज यूथ फेस्टिवल (ग्रुप वन) की वाग्मिता प्रतियोगिता (हिंदी भाषण) में राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई की छात्रा रंजना ने पूरे प्रदेश में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया है। रंजना ने अपनी सफलता का श्रेय महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. जे. आर. कश्यप, यूथ फेस्टिवल ग्रुप-1 समिति के संयोजक प्रो. अनिल कुमार, टीम के कंटिजेंट इंचार्ज प्रो. यशपाल शर्मा और सभी शिक्षकों को दिया है। रंजना की इस उपलब्धि पर पूरे महाविद्यालय में खुशी का माहौल है। छात्रों और शिक्षकों ने इसे शिलाई के लिए गौरव का क्षण बताया। गौरतलब है कि इससे पूर्व भी रंजना ने 3 से 9 जनवरी, 2025 को जम्मू में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के नेशनल इंटीग्रेशन कैंप में भाषण प्रतियोगिता में राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रथम स्थान हासिल कर महाविद्यालय और जिला सिरमौर का नाम रोशन किया था।

Ranjana, a student of Government College, Shillai, has secured first place in the state in the elocution competition (Hindi speech) at the Inter-College Youth Festival (Group One) organized by Himachal Pradesh University at Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Government Postgraduate College, Nahan, from October 13th to 15th, 2025. Ranjana attributed her success to the college’s Principal, Dr. J.R. Kashyap, the Youth Festival Group 1 Committee coordinator, Professor Anil Kumar, the team’s contingent in-charge, Professor Yashpal Sharma, and all the faculty members. Ranjana’s achievement has brought joy to the entire college. Students and faculty members described it as a proud moment for Shillai. It is noteworthy that Ranjana had previously brought honor to the college and Sirmaur district by securing first place at the national level in the elocution competition at the National Service Scheme’s National Integration Camp held in Jammu from January 3rd to 9th, 2025.
