स्कूल गेम फेडरेशन ऑफ़ इंडिया के तहत राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता अंडर-19 बालिका वर्ग बिलासपुर 14 से 17 अक्टूबर तक हुई जिसमें सिरमौर हैंडबॉल टीम के खिलाड़ियों ने अच्छा प्रदर्शन करते हुए उप विजेता की ट्रॉफी हिमाचल प्रदेश में प्राप्त की। लीग मैच में किंनौर टीम को एक तरफा हराने के बाद लाहौल स्पीति से वाकओवर मिलने के बाद सेमीफाइनल में मंडी टीम को काफ़ी मार्जन से हराने के बाद काफ़ी वर्षो के बाद पहली बार हैंडबॉल के फाइनल में सिरमौर टीम ने प्रवेश किया फाइनल में जिला सिरमौर का मुकाबला दमदार और कई वर्षों के विजेता बिलासपुर से हुआ। जिसमें सिरमोर ने अच्छा प्रदर्शन करते हुए उपविजेता का खिताब अपने नाम किया।

कप्तान स्नेहा उप कप्तान महक तुमने कहा कि सभी खिलाड़ियों ने अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया और एक अच्छा मुकाबला फाइनल में हुआ। खिलाड़ियों में कोटड़ी ब्यास स्कूल के 8 खिलाड़ी महक स्नेहा कृतिका अंकिता श्वेता दीपिका स्नेहा महक कृतिका बनोर के 3 खिलाडी, विक्रमवाग के 3, कंगर धरयार के 2 खिलाड़ियों ने सिरमौर टीम दमदार मैच खेला। फाइनल मैच के मुख्य अतिथि डायरेक्टर स्कूल एजुकेशन हिमाचल प्रदेश आशीष कोहली व असिस्टेंट डायरेक्टर रिटायर्ड राजेश ठाकुर व डिप्टी डायरेक्टर बिलासपुर ने खिलाड़ियों को मैच के लिए आशीर्वाद दिया। वही इस उपलब्धि पर कोटडी व्यास मे खुशी की लहर है कोटडी व्यास स्कूल के एस एम सी अध्यक्ष मान सिंह व पंचयात प्रधान सुरेश कुमार कोटडी व्यास ने इस उपलब्धि पर टीम सिरमौर व कोटडी व्यास के सभी खिलाड़ियों को बधाई दी।

टीम के फर्स्ट सेवन जिला सिरमौर की टीम से कोटडी व्यास के ही खिलाडी रहे। इसके लिए इन खिलाड़ियों व स्पेशली इनके कोच शारीरिक शिक्षक धर्मेंदर चौधरी बधाई के पात्र है। जिला सिरमौर हैंडबॉल कैप्टन वाइस कैप्टन वह कोच ने बताया कि बिलासपुर की टीम में बहुत सारे राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी खेलते हैं। हमारा सौभाग्य के उस टीम से हमने अच्छा फाइनल खेला ओर उपविजेता रहे। इन खिलाड़ियों के पेरेंट्स राजकुमार मुल्क राज सुमन देवी अनिल कुमार मीरा देवी सभी एसएमसी सदस्य सरबजीत कौर इसराना बेगम पवन कुमार ने वीणा देवी ने इन सभी खिलाड़ियों को उनके कोच को जिला सिरमौर के सभी कंटिजेंट को बधाई दी है।

Under the School Game Federation of India, the state level competition for under-19 girls category was held in Bilaspur from 14th to 17th October in which the players of Sirmour handball team performed well and got the runner-up trophy in Himachal Pradesh. After defeating Kinnaur team one-sidedly in the league match, after getting a walkover from Lahaul Spiti and after defeating Mandi team by a huge margin in the semi-final, Sirmour team entered the handball final for the first time after many years. In the final, district Sirmour competed with the strong and many years winner Bilaspur. In which Sirmour performed well and won the title of runner-up.

Captain Sneha and Vice Captain Mehak said that all the players performed well and a good match was played in the final. Among the players, 8 players of Kotdi Beas School, Mehak Sneha Kritika Ankita Shweta Deepika Sneha Mehak Kritika, 3 players of Banor, 3 players of Vikramwag, 2 players of Kangar Dharyar, Sirmour team played a strong match. The chief guest of the final match, Director School Education Himachal Pradesh Ashish Kohli and Assistant Director Retired Rajesh Thakur and Deputy Director Bilaspur blessed the players for the match. There is a wave of happiness in Kotdi Vyas on this achievement. SMC President of Kotdi Vyas School Man Singh and Panchayat Pradhan Suresh Kumar Kotdi Vyas congratulated all the players of Team Sirmour and Kotdi Vyas on this achievement.

The first seven players of the team were from Kotdi Vyas from the Sirmaur district team. For this, these players and especially their coach, physical education teacher Dharmender Chaudhary deserve congratulations. District Sirmaur Handball Captain, Vice Captain and Coach said that many national and international players play in the Bilaspur team. It is our good fortune that we played a good final against that team and were runners-up. The parents of these players, Rajkumar Mulk Raj, Suman Devi, Anil Kumar, Meera Devi, all SMC members, Sarabjit Kaur, Israna Begum, Pawan Kumar, Veena Devi have congratulated all these players, their coach and the entire contingent of Sirmaur district.
