आज दिनांक 16/10/2025 कों 8वें राष्ट्रीय पोषण माह के समापन समारोह के उपलक्ष्य पर ज़िला स्तरीय जागरूकता शिविर एवं कार्यशाला का आयोजन बाल विकास परियोजना अधिकारी सभागार रैत मे किया गया। जागरूकता शिविर की विधिवत शुरुआत मुख्यातिथि ज़िला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी अशोक कुमार शर्मा ने की। जागरूकता शिविर के दौरान बाल विकास परियोजना अधिकारी अधिकारी रैत निर्मला देवी द्वारा अपने स्वागत सम्बोधन मे मुख्यातिथि सहित आए। सभी अधिकारिओं व प्रतिभागियों का स्वागत किया व पोषण माह के दौरान की गई गतिविधियों का व्योरा दिया गया।

इसके बाद मुख्यातिथि अशोक शर्मा ने अपने सम्बोधन मे बताया कि 8वे पोषण माह की शुरुआत जिलाधीश कांगड़ा हेमराज वैरवा द्वारा 17 सितंबर 2025 को डी.आर.डी.ए. सभागार मे हुई थी, जोकि 16 अक्टूबर 2025 तक चला और महिलाओं व बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य व पोषण पर केंद्रित रहा। इस दौरान एनीमिया, टीबी, पोषण आदि से संबंधित जांच और जागरूकता के लिए पूरे ज़िले भर मे जागरूकता एवं स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित किए गए, साथ ही ‘पोषण भी, पढ़ाई भी’ व ‘स्वस्थ नारी सशक्त परिवार’ जैसी थीम पर कई गतिविधियाँ आयोजित हुई। जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी अशोक कुमार शर्मा द्वारा कार्यक्रम के समापन अवसर पर एक शिशु को अन्नप्राशन संस्कार करवाया गया व गर्भवती महिला की गोद भराई रस्म करवाई गई।

इस पहल का उद्देश्य समाज मे बाल पोषण के महत्त्व को रेखांकित करना औऱ माताओं को सन्देश देना था कि जीवन के आरंभिक वर्षों मे बच्चों के पोषण पर विशेष ध्यान देना आवश्यक है। पोषण अभियान मे अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने वाली आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं व पर्यवेक्षकों को जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी द्वारा सम्मानित भी किया गया। अंत मे पोषण अभियान से जुडी प्रश्ननोतरी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन भी किया गया। आज के जागरूकता कार्यक्रम मे चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन काँगड़ा के जिला समन्वयक मनमोहन चौधरी ने कार्यशाला मे मौजूद प्रतिभागियों को चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन के टोल फ्री नंबर 1098 की कार्यप्रणाली की विस्तार से जानकारी दी। अंत मे बाल विकास परियोजना अधिकारी निर्मला देवी ने कार्यक्रम मे आए मुख्यातिथि महोदय, पर्यवेक्षक रवि कुमार, जिला पोषण समन्वयक अखिल वर्मा, चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन जिला समन्वयक मनमोहन चौधरी, जिला मिशन शक्ति समन्वयक राहुल शर्मा, सखी वन स्टॉप सेंटर इंचार्ज दिशा गुप्ता, रैत ब्लॉक से आये अध्यापकों, पर्यवेक्षकों, आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं आदि का कार्यक्रम मे पधारने पर धन्यवाद किया।

Today on 16/10/2025, on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the 8th National Nutrition Month, a district level awareness camp and workshop was organized in the Child Development Project Officer Auditorium, Rait. The awareness camp was formally inaugurated by the chief guest, District Program Officer, Ashok Kumar Sharma. During the awareness camp, Child Development Project Officer, Rait, Nirmala Devi, in her welcome address, came along with the chief guest. All the officers and participants were welcomed and details of the activities carried out during the Nutrition Month were given.

Following this, Chief Guest Ashok Sharma, in his address, informed that the 8th Nutrition Month was inaugurated by District Magistrate Kangra Hemraj Vairwa on September 17, 2025, in the DRDA auditorium. It continued until October 16, 2025, and focused on the health and nutrition of women and children. During this period, awareness and health camps were organized throughout the district for screening and awareness related to anemia, TB, nutrition, etc., along with several activities organized on themes such as “Nutrition, Education” and “Healthy Women, Empowered Family.” District Program Officer Ashok Kumar Sharma concluded the program by performing the Annaprashan ceremony for a baby and the baby shower ceremony for a pregnant woman.

The objective of this initiative was to highlight the importance of child nutrition in society and to convey to mothers the importance of paying special attention to children’s nutrition in the early years of life. Anganwadi workers and supervisors who performed well in the nutrition campaign were also honored by the District Program Officer. Finally, a quiz competition related to the nutrition campaign was organized. During today’s awareness program, Manmohan Choudhary, District Coordinator of Child Helpline Kangra, provided detailed information about the functioning of the Child Helpline’s toll-free number 1098 to the participants. Finally, Child Development Project Officer Nirmala Devi thanked the chief guest, supervisor Ravi Kumar, District Nutrition Coordinator Akhil Verma, Child Helpline District Coordinator Manmohan Choudhary, District Mission Shakti Coordinator Rahul Sharma, Sakhi One Stop Center in-charge Disha Gupta, teachers, supervisors, and Anganwadi workers from Rait Block for attending the event.
