नई दिल्ली में इंटीग्रेटेड मेडिकल एसोसिएशन (IMA) आयुष की राष्ट्रीय इकाई द्वारा आयोजित वार्षिक सम्मेलन में हिमाचल प्रदेश के दो वरिष्ठ आयुर्वेद चिकित्सकों को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर “अवार्ड ऑफ ऑनर” से सम्मानित किया गया। यह सम्मान उन्हें आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए प्रदान किया गया। सम्मानित चिकित्सकों में डॉ. मन्जू शर्मा, स्वेच्छा से सेवानिवृत्त उपमंडल आयुर्वेद अधिकारी, राजगढ़, जिला सिरमौर, और प्रोफेसर डॉ. सुनील ठाकुर, विभागाध्यक्ष कायचिकित्सा, राजीव गांधी राजकीय स्नातकोत्तर आयुर्वेद महाविद्यालय, पपरोला (बैजनाथ), जिला कांगड़ा शामिल हैं। दोनों विशेषज्ञों को आयुष चिकित्सा पद्धति के प्रति समर्पण, अनुसंधान व जनहित में चिकित्सा सेवाओं के लिए सम्मानित किया गया।

उन्हें इस अवसर पर स्मृति चिन्ह और ₹15,000 की प्रोत्साहन राशि भेंट की गई। इस उपलब्धि पर आईएमए आयुष संगठन हिमाचल प्रदेश के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष डॉ. दिनेश कुमार और जिला सिरमौर इकाई अध्यक्ष डॉ. ब्रह्म देव शर्मा ने दोनों चिकित्सकों को हार्दिक बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सम्मान न केवल संगठन के लिए बल्कि पूरे हिमाचल प्रदेश के लिए गर्व का विषय है।उन्होंने कहा कि आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में कार्य करने वाले चिकित्सक अपनी पारंपरिक चिकित्सा विधा को आधुनिक शोध से जोड़कर समाज को नई दिशा दे रहे हैं। प्रदेशाध्यक्ष डॉ. दिनेश कुमार ने कहा कि आयुष चिकित्सक समाज के उन वर्गों तक चिकित्सा सुविधाएं पहुंचाएं जो आर्थिक तंगी के कारण इलाज नहीं करवा पाते।

उन्होंने कहा कि यही सच्ची मानव सेवा है, जो आयुर्वेद के मूल सिद्धांतों से जुड़ी है। उन्होंने इस राष्ट्रीय सम्मान के लिए संगठन के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष डॉ. नरेश छवन्निया और मुख्य संरक्षक डॉ. चौहान का भी आभार जताया।IMA आयुष अवार्ड ऑफ ऑनर देश का एक प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान है जो आयुष प्रणाली (आयुर्वेद, योग, प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा, यूनानी, सिद्ध और होम्योपैथी) के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय योगदान देने वाले चिकित्सकों को दिया जाता है। इसका उद्देश्य उन डॉक्टरों को प्रोत्साहित करना है जो समग्र चिकित्सा पद्धति को आगे बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहे हैं।इस उपलब्धि से हिमाचल प्रदेश में आयुर्वेद चिकित्सकों में हर्ष का माहौल है और यह उपलब्धि प्रदेश के लिए गौरव का क्षण बन गई है।

Two senior Ayurvedic doctors from Himachal Pradesh were honored with the national level “Award of Honor” at the annual conference organized by the National Chapter of the Integrated Medical Association (IMA) AYUSH in New Delhi. This honor was given to them for their outstanding contribution in the field of Ayurvedic medicine. The honored doctors include Dr. Manju Sharma, voluntarily retired Sub-Divisional Ayurvedic Officer, Rajgarh, District Sirmaur, and Professor Dr. Sunil Thakur, Head of Department of Kayachikitsa, Rajiv Gandhi Government Post Graduate Ayurvedic College, Paprola (Baijnath), District Kangra. Both experts were honored for their dedication to the AYUSH system of medicine, research, and medical services in the public interest.

On this occasion, they were presented with a memento and an incentive amount of ₹15,000. On this achievement, State President of IMA AYUSH Organization Himachal Pradesh Dr. Dinesh Kumar and District Sirmaur Unit President Dr. Brahma Dev Sharma heartily congratulated both the doctors. He said that this honour is a matter of pride not only for the organization but for the entire Himachal Pradesh. He said that the doctors working in the field of Ayurveda medicine are giving a new direction to the society by combining their traditional medical system with modern research. State President Dr. Dinesh Kumar said that AYUSH doctors should provide medical facilities to those sections of the society who are unable to get treatment due to financial constraints.

He said that this is true service to humanity, which is rooted in the fundamental principles of Ayurveda. He also thanked the organization’s National President, Dr. Naresh Chavannia, and Chief Patron, Dr. Chauhan, for this national honor. The IMA AYUSH Award of Honor is a prestigious national honor given to physicians who have made significant contributions to the field of AYUSH systems (Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy). Its purpose is to encourage doctors who are playing a vital role in advancing holistic medicine. This achievement has brought joy to Ayurvedic physicians in Himachal Pradesh and has become a moment of pride for the state.
