पांवटा साहिब पुलिस ने नशे के कारोबार पर बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए दो युवकों को गिरफ्तार किया है। गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस टीम ने गत रात्रि मिशन स्कूल के समीप सूरजपुर क्षेत्र में दबिश दी, जहां से दो आरोपियों को 3120 नशीले कैप्सूल के साथ दबोचा गया। पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की पहचान सुन्नी सैनी (28) पुत्र बलु राम निवासी रूहलकी, तहसील बेहट, जिला सहारनपुर (उत्तर प्रदेश) और अशोक (39) पुत्र अंतू राम, निवासी उपरोक्त के रूप में हुई है।
दोनों के कब्जे से 3120 कैप्सूल बरामद किए गए, जिन्हें नशे के अवैध कारोबार में प्रयोग किया जा रहा था। पुलिस ने एनडीपीएस अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर आरोपियों को हिरासत में ले लिया है। आज दोनों को न्यायालय में पेश किया जाएगा। पुलिस टीम की इस कार्रवाई से क्षेत्र में मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी करने वालों में हड़कंप मचा हुआ है।

Paonta Sahib police have taken major action against drug trafficking and arrested two youths. Based on a tip-off, the police team raided Surajpur area near Mission School last night, from where two accused were caught with 3120 narcotic capsules. According to information received from the police, the arrested accused have been identified as Sunni Saini (28) son of Balu Ram, resident of Ruhalki, Tehsil Behat, District Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Ashok (39) son of Antu Ram, resident of the above.
3,120 capsules were recovered from their possession, which were being used in the illegal drug trade. Police have registered a case under the NDPS Act and taken the accused into custody. Both will be presented in court today. This action by the police team has created panic among drug traffickers in the area.
