त्यौहारी सीजन में सुचारू यातायात के निर्देश — एडीजी मुरुगेशन ने देहरादून की यातायात व्यवस्था की समीक्षा की

देहरादून: आगामी त्यौहारी सीजन के मद्देनज़र प्रदेश के अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक (अपराध एवं कानून व्यवस्था) श्री वी. मुरुगेशन ने मंगलवार को जनपद देहरादून की यातायात व्यवस्था की विस्तृत समीक्षा की। बैठक में त्यौहारों के दौरान शहर में यातायात सुचारू बनाए रखने के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए गए।

बैठक के दौरान एडीजी ने स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए कि सड़क किनारे किए गए अवैध अतिक्रमणों को तत्काल हटाया जाए तथा इसके लिए संबंधित थाना प्रभारियों की जिम्मेदारी तय की जाए।उन्होंने कहा कि यातायात व्यवस्था में किसी प्रकार की लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी।

एडीजी मुरुगेशन ने निर्देशित किया कि यातायात पुलिस और सीपीयू कर्मियों को ड्यूटी पर भेजने से पहले पूरी तरह ब्रीफ किया जाए। साथ ही भीड़-भाड़ वाले इलाकों में यातायात निरीक्षकों, उपनिरीक्षकों और अपर उपनिरीक्षकों की जिम्मेदारी स्पष्ट रूप से निर्धारित की जाए।

उन्होंने कहा कि जाम की स्थिति उत्पन्न होने पर ड्यूटी पर तैनात अधिकारी और कर्मचारी तुरंत कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करें ताकि यातायात का संचालन निर्बाध रूप से जारी रहे।

त्यौहारों के दौरान प्रभावी यातायात प्रबंधन के लिए एडीजी ने एक विशेष कार्ययोजना तैयार करने और उसे सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफार्मों के माध्यम से जनसामान्य तक पहुँचाने के निर्देश भी दिए, ताकि लोगों को किसी प्रकार की असुविधा का सामना न करना पड़े।

In view of the upcoming festive season, Additional Director General of Police (Crime and Law & Order) Mr. V. Murugesan conducted a detailed review of Dehradun district’s traffic arrangements on Tuesday. During the meeting, several important directions were issued to ensure smooth traffic flow across the city during the festivals.

During the review, the ADG gave clear instructions to remove illegal encroachments along the roads and fix the responsibility of concerned Station House Officers (SHOs) for compliance. He emphasized that any negligence in managing traffic will not be tolerated.

ADG Murugesan also directed that traffic police and CPU personnel be properly briefed before being deployed on duty. He instructed that the responsibilities of traffic inspectors, sub-inspectors, and assistant sub-inspectors be clearly defined, especially in crowded areas.

He further stated that in case of heavy traffic congestion, the deployed officers and personnel must take immediate action to ensure smooth vehicular movement.

To maintain effective traffic management during the festivals, the ADG also ordered the preparation of a special action plan, which should be publicized through social media platforms so that the general public does not face any inconvenience.
