चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन सिरमौर द्वारा राजकीय उच्च विद्यालय एवं राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय सालवाला में एक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता विद्यालय के मुख्यध्यापक ज्ञान सिंह रायज्यादा एवं स्कूल प्रबंधन समिति के अध्यक्ष सुरेश कुमार की अध्यक्षता में संपन्न हुआ। हेल्पलाइन सेवाओं की जानकारी कार्यक्रम के दौरान परियोजना समन्वयक ईशु ठाकुर ने बच्चों को चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन 1098 की सेवाओं के बारे में विस्तारपूर्वक जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बच्चों को उनके अधिकारों और कर्तव्यों से अवगत कराया तथा हेल्पलाइन में आने वाले विभिन्न मामलों की श्रेणियों और 1098 पर सहायता प्राप्त करने की प्रक्रिया की जानकारी साझा की।

सुपरवाइजर सुरेश पाल ने बच्चों को हेल्पलाइन के सही उपयोग, गुड टच-बैड टच के विषय में संवेदनशील जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बच्चों को जेजे एक्ट, पोक्सो एक्ट, बाल श्रम (निषेध) अधिनियम, बाल विवाह अधिनियम आदि महत्वपूर्ण कानूनों के बारे में भी बताया। साथ ही, उन्होंने बच्चों को मोबाइल फोन के दुरुपयोग से होने वाले दुष्परिणामों और साइबर सुरक्षा प्रावधानों के बारे में भी जागरूक किया ताकि बच्चे किसी भी कठिन परिस्थिति में अपनी सुरक्षा के लिए उचित कदम उठा सकें। विद्यालय प्रबंधन एवं स्टाफ ने चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन सिरमौर टीम का धन्यवाद किया और कहा कि इस तरह के कार्यक्रम बच्चों के व्यक्तित्व निर्माण व सुरक्षा जागरूकता के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक हैं। इस कार्यक्रम में राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला के 242 विद्यार्थी एवं 25 अध्यापक, राजकीय प्राथमिक पाठशाला के 106 विद्यार्थी एवं 6 अध्यापक, तथा स्कूल प्रबंधन समिति के सदस्यगण उपस्थित रहे।

Child Helpline Sirmaur organized an awareness program in Government High School and Government Primary School Salwala. The program was presided over by the school’s Headmaster Gyan Singh Raijyada and the Chairman of the School Management Committee Suresh Kumar. During the program, Project Coordinator Ishu Thakur gave detailed information to the children about the services of Child Helpline 1098. He made the children aware of their rights and duties and shared information about the categories of various cases coming to the helpline and the process of getting help on 1098.

Supervisor Suresh Pal provided children with sensitive information about the correct use of the helpline and the difference between good and bad touch. He also informed them about important laws such as the JJ Act, the POCSO Act, the Child Labor (Prohibition) Act, and the Child Marriage Act. He also made children aware of the ill effects of mobile phone misuse and cybersecurity provisions, so that children can take appropriate steps to protect themselves in any difficult situation. The school management and staff thanked the Child Helpline Sirmaur team and expressed their gratitude for programs like this, stating that such programs are crucial for developing children’s personalities and fostering safety awareness. The program was attended by 242 students and 25 teachers from the Government Senior Secondary School, 106 students and 6 teachers from the Government Primary School, and members of the school management committee.
