देहरादून:महिला एवं बाल अपराधों के खिलाफ सख्त रुख अपनाए हुए दून पुलिस ने एक बार फिर बड़ी कार्रवाई की है। शादी का झांसा देकर युवती से दुष्कर्म करने वाला आरोपी पुलिस के शिकंजे में आ गया। आरोपी को उत्तर प्रदेश के बिजनौर से गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

रायपुर क्षेत्र की एक महिला ने थाना रायपुर में तहरीर दी थी कि रोहित ठाकुर नाम के युवक ने उसकी पुत्री को शादी का झांसा देकर शारीरिक शोषण किया। शिकायत पर पुलिस ने तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए मुकदमा दर्ज कर जांच शुरू की।

वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक देहरादून के निर्देशन में गठित टीम ने लगातार सुरागरसी और पतारसी कर आरोपी का लोकेशन ट्रेस किया। मुखबिर की पक्की सूचना पर पुलिस टीम ने 13 अक्टूबर को आरोपी रोहित ठाकुर (25 वर्ष) पुत्र दीपक ठाकुर, निवासी ग्राम नारायणपुर रामजी उर्फ तेलीपुरा, थाना नगीना, जिला बिजनौर (उत्तर प्रदेश) को दबोच लिया।

गिरफ्तारी करने वाली टीम में महिला उपनिरीक्षक रजनी चमोली, उपनिरीक्षक सुनील रावत और कांस्टेबल नरेन्द्र भण्डारी शामिल रहे।

Dehradun: Maintaining a strict stance against crimes involving women and children, the Dehradun police have once again taken swift action. The accused, who allegedly raped a girl under the pretext of marriage, has been arrested from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh.

A woman from the Raipur area lodged a complaint at the Raipur police station, stating that a man named Rohit Thakur had established physical relations with her daughter under the false promise of marriage. Acting promptly on the complaint, the police registered a case and launched an investigation.

Under the direction of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, a special team carried out continuous surveillance and traced the accused’s location. Acting on a reliable tip-off, the police team arrested the accused, Rohit Thakur (25), son of Deepak Thakur, resident of village Narayanpur Ramji alias Telipura, police station Nagina, district Bijnor (Uttar Pradesh), on October 13.

The arresting team included Sub-Inspector Rajni Chamoli, Sub-Inspector Sunil Rawat, and Constable Narendra Bhandari.
