ठुंडू विकास समिति के कार्यकारिणी की बैठक रविवार देर रात ठुंडू विकास समिति की कफोटा ईकाई के तत्वाधान में भटाढ़ गांव में संपन्न हुई। जिसमें स्थानीय ईकाई के अलावा केन्द्रीय समिति की कार्यकारिणी ने भाग लिया। इस बैठक में ठुंडू बिरादरी की समस्याओं तथा निवारण के अलावा सभी ईकाईयों के गठन तथा क्रियान्वयन के अलावा ईकाईयों को ओर अधिक मजबूती तथा प्रभावी बनाने पर जोर दिया। हर ठुंडू परिवार और व्यक्ति को समिति से जोड़ना एवं संगठित करना, बिरादरी के ऐतिहासिक पहलुओं को संजोकर रखना, युवाओं व महिलाओं की भागीदारी बढ़ाना, कार्यकारिणी विस्तार के साथ वर्तमान वर्ष में ठुंडू बिरादरी के भाईचारा मिलन समारोह इत्यादि। सभी पहलुओं पर चर्चा के बाद ठुंडू बिरादरी के मेलजोल समारोह के आयोजन हेतु ठुंडू बिरादरी के मूल स्थान हामल परगना के गावं ठुंडना पर सहमति बनी। जिसका आयोजन रविवार 02 नवम्बर 2025 को प्रातः 11 बजे होना तय हुआ।

समिति के अध्यक्ष धर्मेन्द्र ठुंडू व वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष चत्तर ठुंडू ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया की यह समिति और बिरादरी की निरंतर चलने वाली प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा है उन्होंने बिरादरी के युवा ठुंडूओं से (ठुंडू व ठुंटी) से इस समारोह में शामिल होने की विशेष अपील की। ताकि बिरादरी का मेलजोल एवं भाईचारा निरंतर चलता रहे। समिति के महासचिव दिनेश ठुंडू ने कहा की इस समारोह में हिमाचल प्रदेश – उतराखंड के शिमला जिला से तहसील चौपाल व कुपुवी, सिरमौर जिला के तहसील राजगढ़, नोहराधार, रोनहाट, शिलाई, कमरऊ, पांवटा साहिब तहसील के अलावा चकरोता से सेंकड़ों ठुंडू भाग लेंगे। ज्ञात रहे की ठुंडू बिरादरी पूरे पहाड़ी क्षेत्र की सबसे बड़ी खैल व बिरादरी है।

यह समस्त बिरादरी पूर्व में एक मां और बाप की सन्ताने है। इस क्षेत्र में इन ठुंडू खौश (राजपूत) बिरादरी का बहुत बड़ा प्रभाव है।नरेन्द्र ठुंडू ने बताया कि ठुंडू बिरादरी का ऐसा आयोजन अद्भुत व गोरवान्वित करने वाला क्षण और युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणा स्रौत होगा। इस मौके पर ठुंडू बिरादरी के विभिन्न गांव से अध्यक्ष, धर्मेन्द्र ठुंडू, वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष चतर ठुंडू, उपाध्यक्ष‌ दलीप ठुंडू एवं रमेश ठुंडू व नरेन्द्र ठुंडू, महासचिव दिनेश ठुंडू, कोषाध्यक्ष इंद्र ठुंडू, कफोटा ईकाई के अध्यक्ष फतेह सिंह, सचिव सुरेश कुमार, कोषाध्यक्ष जगदीश ठुंडू के अलावा पुर्व सचिव धर्म सिंह ठुंडू के अलावा कई गणमान्य मौजूद रहे।

The executive meeting of the Thundu Vikas Samiti was held late Sunday night in Bhatadh village under the aegis of the Kafota unit of the Thundu Vikas Samiti. The meeting was attended by the local unit as well as the central committee. In addition to addressing the problems of the Thundu community and their solutions, the formation and implementation of all units, and strengthening and strengthening the units, included: connecting and organizing every Thundu family and individual to the committee, preserving the community’s historical aspects, increasing the participation of youth and women, expanding the executive, and organizing a brotherhood gathering for the Thundu community this year. After discussing all aspects, a consensus was reached on the Thundu community’s home village of Thundna in Hamal Pargana, the Thundu community’s hometown, to host the gathering. It was scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 11 am.

Committee President Dharmendra Thundu and Senior Vice President Chattar Thundu informed that this is a part of the ongoing process of the committee and the community. They made a special appeal to the young Thundus (Thundu and Thunti) of the community to participate in this function so that the harmony and brotherhood of the community continues. Committee General Secretary Dinesh Thundu said that hundreds of Thundus from Tehsil Chaupal and Kupvi of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh-Uttarakhand, Tehsil Rajgarh, Nohradhar, Ronhat, Shillai, Kamaru, Paonta Sahib tehsil of Sirmaur district, besides Chakrota will participate in this function. It should be known that Thundu community is the biggest sports and community of the entire hilly region.

This entire community is descended from the same mother and father. This Thundu Khosh (Rajput) community has a huge influence in this region. Narendra Thundu said that such an event of Thundu community will be a wonderful and proud moment and a source of inspiration for the youth. On this occasion, presidents from various villages of Thundu community, Dharmendra Thundu, senior vice president Chatar Thundu, vice presidents Dalip Thundu and Ramesh Thundu and Narendra Thundu, general secretary Dinesh Thundu, treasurer Indra Thundu, president of Kafota unit Fateh Singh, secretary Suresh Kumar, treasurer Jagdish Thundu, besides former secretary Dharam Singh Thundu and many other dignitaries were present.
