सिरमौर जिले के रेणुकाजी विधानसभा क्षेत्र की सांगना पंचायत के पांच गांवों में बीते एक सप्ताह से विद्युत आपूर्ति ठप है। इसके चलते लोगों खासकर स्कूली बच्चों को दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। अपनी इस मांग को लेकर पंचायत के लोगों का एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल सिरमौर के एडीएम एलआर वर्मा से मिला और शिकायत पत्र सौंपकर विद्युत आपूर्ति बहाल करवाने का आग्रह किया।भाजपा जिला प्रवक्ता प्रताप रावत, महामंत्री रणवीर ठाकुर, हीरा सिंह, वेद ठाकुर ने बताया कि सांगना पंचायत के गाताधार में लगा विद्युत ट्रांसफार्मर एक सप्ताह पूर्व जल गया था।

इसके चलते गाताधार, मंडवाच, चियाड़ो, बागड़ी और पाबवाला में विद्युत आपूर्ति ठप पड़ी हुई है। पांच गांवों की करीब 1500 की आबादी एक सप्ताह से अंधेरे में है। लोगों को अपने रोजमर्रा के कार्य और कारोबार करने में दिक्कतें झेलनी पड़ रहीं हैं। ग्रामीणों का आरोप है कि इस बारे में विद्युत उपमंडल पनोग को कई मर्तबा अवगत करवाया जा चुका है। समस्या को दुरुस्त करना तो दूर की बात बोर्ड के अधिकारी लोगों के फोन तक नहीं उठा रहे हैं। उन्होंने एडीएम संबंधित बोर्ड अधिकारियों को गांवों के लिए जल्द विद्युत आपूर्ति बहाल करवाने के निर्देश जारी करने का आग्रह किया।

Electricity supply has been disrupted in five villages of Sangna Panchayat of Renukaji Assembly constituency of Sirmaur district for the past one week. Due to this, people, especially school children, are facing difficulties. Regarding this demand, a delegation of the Panchayat people met Sirmaur ADM LR Verma and submitted a complaint letter and requested to restore the electricity supply. BJP District Spokesperson Pratap Rawat, General Secretary Ranveer Thakur, Hira Singh, Ved Thakur said that the electricity transformer installed in Gatadhar of Sangna Panchayat had burnt down a week ago.

Due to this, power supply has been disrupted in Gatadhar, Mandwach, Chiado, Bagdi, and Pabwala. The population of approximately 1,500 in five villages has been in darkness for a week. People are facing difficulties in carrying out their daily activities and businesses. Villagers allege that the Panog Electricity Sub-Division has been informed of this issue several times. Board officials are not even answering people’s calls, let alone fixing the problem. They have urged the ADM to issue instructions to the concerned board officials to restore power supply to the villages as soon as possible.
