हिमाचल प्रदेश में हिमाचल पथ परिवहन निगम में 297 इलेक्ट्रिक बसें जुड़ने जा रही हैं। दिसंबर व जनवरी में नई बसें एचआरटीसी के बेड़े में शामिल हो जाएंगी। नवंबर में दो इलेक्ट्रिक बसें ट्रायल के लिए शिमला आ रही हैं। इसमें यह देखा जाएगा कि एक बार चार्ज करने पर बसें कितने किलोमीटर सफर कर सकती हैं। इन सभी बसों को लंबे रूटों पर चलाया जाएगा। प्रत्येक बस का 200 किलोमीटर आना-जाना रहेगा। इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के लिए बस अड्डों पर चार्जिंग स्टेशन स्थापित किए जाएंगे। पथ परिवहन निगम ने इसका काम शुरू कर दिया है। इन बसों के आने से एचआरटीसी के बेड़े से कुछ पुरानी बसें भी हटेंगी।

412 करोड़ रुपये से इन बसों की खरीद होगी। दिसंबर महीने से इलेक्ट्रिक बसों की खेप आनी शुरू हो जाएगी। जनवरी अंत तक सभी 297 बसें हिमाचल पहुंच जाएंगी। उपमुख्यमंत्री मुकेश अग्निहोत्री ने कहा कि निगम के बेड़े में 297 नई इलेक्ट्रिक बसों को जोड़ा जा रहा है। दिसंबर से बसें आनी शुरू हो जाएंगी। मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि हिमाचल पथ परिवहन निगम की ओर से डीजल बसों को चरणबद्ध तरीके से ई-बसों से बदला जा रहा है। 124 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बस अड्डों पर ई-चार्जिंग स्टेशन भी स्थापित किए जा रहे हैं। इन ई-बसों की खरीद के अलावा वित्तीय वर्ष 2025-26 में 500 और ई-बसें खरीदी जाएंगी। सरकार का यह कदम वायु प्रदूषण को कम करने के साथ-साथ पर्यावरणीय संसाधनों के संरक्षण में भी सहायक सिद्ध हो रहा है।

These buses will be purchased for ₹412 crore. Shipments of electric buses will begin arriving in December. All 297 buses will reach Himachal by the end of January. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri stated that 297 new electric buses are being added to the corporation’s fleet. The buses will begin arriving in December. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu stated that the Himachal Road Transport Corporation is gradually replacing diesel buses with e-buses. E-charging stations are also being installed at bus stations at a cost of ₹124 crore. In addition to the purchase of these e-buses, 500 more e-buses will be purchased in the financial year 2025-26.
