हिमाचल प्रदेश ओलिंपिक संघ (एचपीओए) की वार्षिक आम बैठक में पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर को सर्वसम्मति से संघ का अध्यक्ष चुना गया। इस अवसर पर हिमाचल प्रदेश कबड्डी संघ ने उन्हें हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं दीं। प्रेस को जारी बयान में प्रदेश कबड्डी संघ के महासचिव कुलदीप राणा ने कहा कि अनुराग ठाकुर के नेतृत्व में प्रदेश का खेल जगत नई ऊंचाइयों को छुएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि संघ ने जिस विश्वास के साथ उन्हें अध्यक्ष चुना है, उससे खिलाड़ियों में नई ऊर्जा का संचार होगा।

राणा ने बताया कि प्रदेश ओलंपिक संघ में कबड्डी संघ के अध्यक्ष राजकुमार ब्रांटा को संयुक्त सचिव और वेदराम ठाकुर को सदस्य बनाए जाने पर कबड्डी संघ संघटन का आभार व्यक्त करता है। संयुक्त बयान में प्रदेश कबड्डी संघ के वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष जय चौहान, कोषाध्यक्ष रमेश कुमार, टेक्निकल चेयरमैन डॉ. गोपाल दष्टा, निर्णायक वार्ड अध्यक्ष विजयपाल चंदेल और सोलन जिला कबड्डी संघ के अध्यक्ष विनय भगनाल ने भी अनुराग ठाकुर, महासचिव राजेश भंडारी, कोषाध्यक्ष अभिताभ शर्मा और संयुक्त सचिव राज कुमार निट्टू को बधाई दी।

Former Union Minister Anurag Thakur was unanimously elected as the president of the Himachal Pradesh Olympic Association (HPOA) at its annual general meeting. The Himachal Pradesh Kabaddi Association extended its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Thakur on this occasion. In a press statement, State Kabaddi Association General Secretary Kuldeep Rana said that under Anurag Thakur’s leadership, the state’s sports world will reach new heights. He said that the trust with which the association has elected him as president will infuse new energy into the players.

Rana said that the Kabaddi Association expresses its gratitude to the State Olympic Association for appointing its President Rajkumar Branta as Joint Secretary and Vedram Thakur as a member. In a joint statement, State Kabaddi Association Senior Vice President Jai Chauhan, Treasurer Ramesh Kumar, Technical Chairman Dr. Gopal Dashta, Judge Ward President Vijaypal Chandel and Solan District Kabaddi Association President Vinay Bhagnal also congratulated Anurag Thakur, General Secretary Rajesh Bhandari, Treasurer Abhitabh Sharma and Joint Secretary Raj Kumar Nittu.
