नाहन विधानसभा क्षेत्र के मातर भेड़ों के लिए 16 करोड़ 4 लाख रुपये की लागत से बनने वाली सड़क की बड़ी सौगात मिली है। शुक्रवार को स्थानीय विधायक अजय सोलंकी ने इस सड़क का भूमि पूजन कर निर्माण कार्य भी शुरू करवा दिया है। भूमि पूजन स्थल पर विधायक के पहुँचने से पहले ही स्थानीय लोगों ने उनका जोरदार स्वागत किया और सड़क की यह बड़ी सौगात देने के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया। इस सड़क परियोजना की सबसे बड़ी बात यह है कि इसके बन जाने के बाद नाहन से पवित्र आदि बद्री तीर्थ स्थल तक पहुँचने की दूरी करीब 25 किलोमीटर कम हो जाएगी।आदि बद्री, जो कि सरस्वती नदी का उद्गम स्थल माना जाता है और पवित्र तीर्थ के रूप में गिना जाता है, हिमाचल की सीमा से सटे हरियाणा में पड़ता है। यह 5 किलोमीटर लंबी सड़क हरियाणा के आदि बद्री की सीमा तक बनेगी, जिससे दोनों राज्य आपस में जुड़ जाएँगे।

इस सड़क निर्माण की अवधि 18 महीने रखी गई है और इसका निर्माण कार्य न्यू इंडिया कंपनी को दिया गया है, जिसकी गिनती उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली सड़कें बनाने वाली कंपनियों में की जाती है। विधायक अजय सोलंकी ने उपस्थित जनसमूह को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश की सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू सरकार ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए दृढ़ इच्छा शक्ति के साथ कार्य कर रही है। इस अवसर पर विधायक अजय सोलंकी ने स्थानीय लोगों की समस्याओं को भी सुना और उनका मौके पर ही निष्पादन किया। विधायक ने इस महत्वपूर्ण सड़क की स्वीकृति, फ़ॉरेस्ट क्लियरेंस और आवश्यक फंड की व्यवस्था करने हेतु माननीय मुख्यमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त किया। भूमिपूजन कार्यक्रम में लोक निर्माण विभाग के अधिशासी अभियंता आलोक जवनेजा, न्यू इंडिया कंस्ट्रक्शन कंपनी के सीएमडी संजय सिंघल के अलावा मंडल अध्यक्ष ज्ञान चंद, पंचायत प्रधान लियाकत अली, मातर पंचायत प्रधान अलका देवी, वार्ड सदस्य भूरा खान, अलियास, मांम दीन, अमन ठाकुर,अनिल शर्मा, तकी मोहम्मद, अली हसन, मोहम्मद रफी, असलम, कामिल सहित स्थानीय निवासी, पंचायत प्रतिनिधि एवं सभी विभागों के प्रशासनिक अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

The Matar sheep of the Nahan Assembly constituency have received a significant gift in the form of a road to be built at a cost of ₹16.4 million. On Friday, local MLA Ajay Solanki performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the road, marking the beginning of construction. Even before the MLA arrived at the groundbreaking ceremony, locals welcomed him enthusiastically and expressed their gratitude for the significant road gift. The most significant aspect of this road project is that once completed, the distance from Nahan to the sacred Adi Badri pilgrimage site will be reduced by approximately 25 kilometers. Adi Badri, considered the source of the Saraswati River and a sacred pilgrimage site, lies in Haryana, bordering Himachal Pradesh. This 5-kilometer-long road will extend up to the border of Adi Badri in Haryana, connecting the two states.

The construction period for this road has been set at 18 months, and the work has been awarded to New India Company, a company renowned for building high-quality roads. Addressing the gathering, MLA Ajay Solanki stated that the Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government in the state is working with a strong will to develop rural areas. On this occasion, MLA Ajay Solanki also listened to the local people’s concerns and addressed them on the spot. The MLA expressed his gratitude to the Honorable Chief Minister for arranging the approval, forest clearance, and necessary funds for this important road. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Public Works Department Executive Engineer Alok Javneja and New India Construction Company CMD Sanjay Singhal, as well as Mandal President Gyan Chand, Panchayat Pradhan Liaquat Ali, Matar Panchayat Pradhan Alka Devi, ward members Bhura Khan, Alias, Mam Din, Aman Thakur, Anil Sharma, Taki Mohammad, Ali Hasan, Mohammad Rafi, Aslam, and Kamil, along with local residents, Panchayat representatives, and administrative officers from all departments.
