हिमाचल प्रदेश के कुल्लू में उपायुक्त कार्यालय को 2 मई, 2025 को ईमेल के ज़रिए बम से उड़ाने की धमकी मिली थी। पुलिस ने इस मामले में कार्रवाई करते हुए शातिर अपराधी को आखिरकार धर दबोचा है। इस गिरफ्तारी के साथ न केवल कुल्लू प्रशासन ने राहत की सांस ली है, बल्कि तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी और हैदराबाद समेत कई राज्यों में इसी तरह की सनसनी फैलाने वाले एक अंतरराज्यीय अपराधी का पर्दाफाश हुआ है। दिल्ली का ‘नितिन शर्मा’ मैसूर से गिरफ्तार कुल्लू के पुलिस अधीक्षक डॉ. कार्तिकेयन के नेतृत्व में हुई जांच में, आरोपी की पहचान नितिन शर्मा, निवासी बलजीत नगर, नई दिल्ली के तौर पर हुई है। इस व्यक्ति को अगस्त 2025 में मैसूर पुलिस द्वारा हिरासत में लिया गया था और अब कुल्लू पुलिस उसे ट्रांजिट रिमांड पर यहां लेकर आई है। स्थानीय अदालत ने आरोपी को पांच दिन की पुलिस कस्टडी में भेजा है ताकि इस पूरे मामले की परतें खोली जा सकें।
तकनीकी सुरागों ने पहुंचाया अपराधी तक जांच अधिकारियों ने इस डिजिटल अपराध के सोर्स तक पहुंचने के लिए गहन तकनीकी विश्लेषण का सहारा लिया। उन्होंने खुलासा किया कि इस धमकी भरे मेल को भेजने के लिए उपयोग में लाए गए दो मोबाइल फोन मैंगलोर और बेंगलुरु से जब्त किए गए हैं। चौंकाने वाली बात यह है कि ये दोनों डिवाइस कर्नाटक के मेडिकेरी से चोरी किए गए थे। इन्हीं तकनीकी सुरागों ने पुलिस को दिल्ली के नितिन शर्मा तक पहुंचाया।अपराधी का व्यापक नेटवर्क और पुराना रिकॉर्ड गिरफ्तार नितिन शर्मा का आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड काफी लंबा है। वह पहले भी तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी और हैदराबाद में सरकारी व सार्वजनिक प्रतिष्ठानों को इसी तरह की फर्जी धमकियां भेजने के मामलों में शामिल रहा है। एसपी कुल्लू ने बताया कि पुलिस इस बात की गहराई से जांच कर रही है।

The Deputy Commissioner’s office in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, received a bomb threat via email on May 2, 2025. Police have taken action in this case and finally apprehended the perpetrator. This arrest not only brings relief to the Kullu administration, but also exposes an interstate criminal who had caused similar sensationalism in several states, including Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Hyderabad. Delhi’s ‘Nitin Sharma’ arrested from Mysore. An investigation led by Kullu Superintendent of Police Dr. Karthikeyan identified the accused as Nitin Sharma, a resident of Baljeet Nagar, New Delhi. The man was detained by the Mysore police in August 2025 and has now been brought here by the Kullu police on transit remand. The local court has remanded the accused to five days of police custody to unravel the entire case.
Technical clues led to the culprit The investigating officers resorted to in-depth technical analysis to reach the source of this digital crime. They revealed that two mobile phones used to send this threatening mail have been seized from Mangalore and Bengaluru. Shockingly, both these devices were stolen from Medikeri in Karnataka. These technical clues led the police to Nitin Sharma of Delhi. The criminal has a wide network and past record The arrested Nitin Sharma has a long criminal record. He has previously been involved in cases of sending similar fake threats to government and public establishments in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Hyderabad. SP Kullu said that the police is investigating this matter thoroughly.
