नाहन शहर के गुनूघाट क्षेत्र में गुरुवार देर रात एक दर्दनाक घटना सामने आई, जहां 16 वर्षीय छात्रा ने फंदा लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। निजी स्कूल में पढ़ने वाली यह छात्रा घर पर अकेले कमरे में गई और रात करीब 9 बजे यह कदम उठा लिया। परिजनों ने जब तक उसे देखा, तब तक स्थिति गंभीर हो चुकी थी। उसे तुरंत मेडिकल कॉलेज नाहन पहुंचाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।प्रारंभिक जांच में सामने आया है कि छात्रा अपने स्कूल के टूर पर जाना चाहती थी। परिजनों ने उसे टूर पर भेजने से मना कर दिया, जिससे वह तनावग्रस्त हो गई। सूत्रों के अनुसार इसी बात से आहत होकर उसने फंदा लगाकर अपनी जीवनलीला समाप्त कर दी। घटना के समय उसकी मां रसोई में खाना बना रही थी और पिता मंदिर गए थे। गुन्नूघाट पुलिस चौकी प्रभारी सुरेश मेहता ने मौके पर पहुंचकर घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण किया और बयान दर्ज किए। पुलिस को मौके से कोई भी सुसाइड नोट बरामद नहीं हुआ है। एडिशनल एसपी योगेश रोल्टा ने भी घटना की पुष्टि की है। उन्होंने बताया कि छात्रा के शव का आज पोस्टमार्टम करवाकर परिजनों को सौंप दिया जाएगा। इस हृदयविदारक घटना से सारे क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर है।

A tragic incident occurred late Thursday night in the Gunughat area of Nahan city, where a 16-year-old student committed suicide by hanging herself. The student, who attended a private school, went to her room alone and took the extreme step around 9 p.m. By the time her family found her, her condition had deteriorated. She was immediately rushed to Nahan Medical College, where doctors declared her dead. Preliminary investigations revealed that the student wanted to go on a school trip. Her family refused to allow her, causing her to become distressed. Sources indicate that she ended her life by hanging herself. At the time of the incident, her mother was cooking in the kitchen and her father had gone to the temple. Gunughat police post in-charge Suresh Mehta arrived at the scene, inspected the scene, and recorded statements. Police did not recover any suicide note. Additional Superintendent of Police Yogesh Rolta also confirmed the incident. He stated that the student’s body will be handed over to her family after a post-mortem examination today. There is a wave of mourning in the entire area due to this heart-wrenching incident.
