नाहन शहर में गुन्नुघाट पुलिस ने सतर्कता और जिम्मेदारी का परिचय देते हुए एक छात्रा का गुम हुआ बैग सुरक्षित रूप से उसके मालिक तक पहुँचाया।जानकारी के अनुसार अमर उजाला समाचार पत्र के पत्रकार पंकज तनाह को रानीताल गेट के पास एक काले रंग का ट्रैवलर बैग मिला। उन्होंने तुरंत बैग को गुन्नुघाट पुलिस चौकी में जमा करवा दिया।नाइट इन्वेस्टिगेशन ऑफिसर रणवीर सिंह ने टीम के साथ बैग की बारीकी से छानबीन की। जांच में आधार कार्ड, 10वीं-12वीं की अंकतालिकाएं और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज़ मिले, जो कुमारी पूनम पुत्री तेजपाल, निवासी फाहल (तहसील गलोर, जिला हमीरपुर) के नाम पर थे।इसके बाद पुलिस ने तुरंत छात्रा से संपर्क साधा। कुमारी पूनम, जो बीते दो वर्षों से नाहन में रहकर GDC नाहन में बीए तृतीय वर्ष की पढ़ाई कर रही हैं, चौकी पहुँचीं। यहाँ एल.सी. नीलम शर्मा की मौजूदगी में इन्वेस्टिगेशन ऑफिसर रणवीर सिंह ने पूरे दस्तावेज़ व बैग उन्हें सुरक्षित सौंप दिए।कुमारी पूनम ने बैग लौटाने की इस पूरी प्रक्रिया के लिए गुन्नुघाट पुलिस विभाग और पंकज तनाह का विशेष आभार जताया।
