गिरिपार क्षेत्र के राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई की राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई एक और दो ने यंग स्पीकर्स क्लब के सहयोग से महाविद्यालय परिसर में राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना दिवस बड़े धूमधाम से मनाया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ• जे• आर• कश्यप ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप उपस्थित होकर दीप प्रज्वलित करके की। कार्यक्रम की आरंभिक प्रस्तुतियों में प्रो• रीना देवी के नेतृत्व में छात्राओं द्वारा सरस्वती वंदना का गायन, स्वयंसेविकाओं द्वारा प्रस्तुत एन• एस• एस• गीत, और वाद विवाद प्रतियोगिता आकर्षण का केंद्र रहे। उसके बाद प्रो• रीबा ठाकुर के नेतृत्व में यंग स्पीकर्स क्लब की ओर से आपदा नामक विषय पर विचार प्रस्तुत किए गए और छात्राओं ने उच्च कोटि के पहाड़ी गीत का गायन भी किया। कार्यक्रम के मध्य भाग में नाटी डांस विद डायलॉग और फनी क्विज ने श्रोताओं का भरपूर मनोरंजन किया।

जबकि कार्यक्रम की समाप्ति पहाड़ी नाटी के साथ हुई और अंत में प्राचार्य डॉ• जे• आर• कश्यप जी ने कार्यक्रम अधिकारियों प्रो• रंजना चौहान और प्रो• यशपाल शर्मा सहित समस्त स्वयंसेवकों को कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन के लिए बधाई दी। कार्यक्रम अधिकारी यशपाल शर्मा ने मंच का संचालन, जबकि कार्यक्रम अधिकारी रंजना चौहान ने अंत में अतिथियों का धन्यवाद किया। इस कार्यक्रम में एक ओर जहां प्रो• अजय सिंह, प्रो• विद्या वर्मा और प्रो• रीना शर्मा ने निर्णायक मंडल के रूप में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई, वहीं दूसरी ओर प्रो• रविंद्र शर्मा, प्रो• अनिल कुमार और प्रो• रामलाल ठाकुर ने कार्यक्रम के दौरान अनुशासन स्थापित करके कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाया। इस दौरान सुपरिटेंडेंट ग्रेड वनकामराज चौहान सहित महाविद्यालय के सभी शिक्षक तथा गैर शिक्षक वर्ग उपस्थित रहे।

National Service Scheme Units 1 and 2 of Government College, Shillai, in the Giripar region, celebrated National Service Scheme Day with great enthusiasm on the college campus, in collaboration with the Young Speakers Club. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the college principal, Dr. J.R. Kashyap, who was the chief guest. The opening presentations included the Saraswati Vandana recital by students led by Prof. Reena Devi, an NSS song presented by volunteers, and a debate competition. Following this, the Young Speakers Club, led by Prof. Reeba Thakur, presented their thoughts on the topic of disaster, and the students also sang a high-quality Pahari song. In the middle of the program, a Naati dance with dialogue and a funny quiz thoroughly entertained the audience.

While the program ended with Pahadi Naati and in the end Principal Dr. J.R. Kashyap congratulated the program officers Prof. Ranjana Chauhan and Prof. Yashpal Sharma along with all the volunteers for the successful organization of the program. Program officer Yashpal Sharma conducted the stage, while program officer Ranjana Chauhan thanked the guests in the end. In this program, on one hand Prof. Ajay Singh, Prof. Vidya Verma and Prof. Reena Sharma played an important role as judges, on the other hand Prof. Ravindra Sharma, Prof. Anil Kumar and Prof. Ramlal Thakur made the program successful by establishing discipline during the program. During this, Superintendent Grade One Kamraj Chauhan along with all the teachers and non-teaching staff of the college were present.
