उपमंडल के गांव तालों, सेरटा, बोहला और नगोली में बाघ और तेंदुए का आतंक लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है। अब ये जंगली जानवर केवल जंगलों तक ही सीमित नहीं हैं, बल्कि दिन, सुबह और शाम को भी ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में घरों व पशुशालाओं के आसपास देखे जा रहे हैं। इससे पूरे इलाके में दहशत का माहौल है। ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि बाघ और तेंदुआ कई बार घरों के पास से गुजरते दिखाई दिए हैं। हाल ही में नगोली गांव के जोगेंद्र सिंह के दो बकरे और एक बकरी को बघेरा उठा ले गया। वहीं क्षेत्र में कई लोगों के पालतू कुत्ते भी इन जंगली जानवरों का शिकार हो चुके हैं। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि यह समस्या लंबे समय से बनी हुई है और अब स्थिति और गंभीर हो गई है।
लोग रात को घरों से बाहर निकलने से डरते हैं और पशुपालकों के मवेशियों पर लगातार खतरा मंडरा रहा है। स्थानीय लोग जसवंत, अरुण, भागचंद, वीरेंद्र कपूर, शेर सिंह, महिला मंडल प्रधान पार्वती कौशल्या, प्रमिता, हेमा, बीना, अंजू, शकुंतला सहित जनवादी महिला समिति की कोषाध्यक्ष आशा शर्मा और पूर्व राज्य अध्यक्ष संतोष कपूर ने संयुक्त रूप से प्रशासन व वन विभाग से मांग की है कि क्षेत्र में बाघ और तेंदुए की समस्या का जल्द समाधान किया जाए। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि विभाग ने ठोस कदम नहीं उठाए तो ग्रामीण आंदोलन करने के लिए मजबूर होंगे। ग्रामीणों ने मांग की है कि इन जंगली जानवरों को पकड़कर सुरक्षित स्थान पर छोड़ा जाए या फिर प्रभावित गांवों में सुरक्षा इंतजाम किए जाएं।

The terror of tigers and leopards is steadily increasing in the villages of Talo, Serta, Bohla, and Nagoli in the subdivision. These wild animals are no longer confined to the forests, but are also being seen around homes and cattle sheds in rural areas during the day, morning, and evening. This has created an atmosphere of panic throughout the area. Villagers report that tigers and leopards have been seen passing near homes several times. Recently, a tiger carried off two goats and a male goat belonging to Jogendra Singh of Nagoli village. The pet dogs of several people in the area have also fallen prey to these wild animals. Villagers say that this problem has persisted for a long time and the situation has now become more serious.
People are afraid to leave their homes at night, and the cattle of pastoralists are constantly under threat. Locals Jaswant, Arun, Bhagchand, Virendra Kapoor, Sher Singh, Mahila Mandal President Parvati Kaushalya, Pramita, Hema, Bina, Anju, Shakuntala, along with Janwadi Mahila Samiti Treasurer Asha Sharma and former State President Santosh Kapoor have jointly demanded from the administration and forest department that the problem of tigers and leopards in the area be resolved soon. They have warned that if the department does not take concrete steps, the villagers will be forced to protest. The villagers have demanded that these wild animals be captured and released in a safe place or that security arrangements be made in the affected villages.
