5 व 15 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण कर चुके बच्चों का आधार बायोमैट्रिक अपडेट करवाना तथा 0 से 5 वर्ष के बच्चों का आधार कार्ड बनवाना भी अति आवश्यक है, जिन बच्चों ने 5 व 15 वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर अपना आधार कार्ड अपडेट नहीं करवाया है उनका आधार कार्ड निष्क्रिय हो सकता है। यह जानकारी उपायुक्त सिरमौर प्रियंका वर्मा ने उपायुक्त कार्यालय के सभागार में जिला स्तरीय आधार निगरानी समिति की बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए दी। उन्होंने बताया कि 5 व 15 वर्ष के पश्चात बच्चों के चेहरे की फोटो ,मोबाइल नंबर, हाथों के फिंगरप्रिंट व पता इत्यादि आधार में अपडेट करना आवश्यक है। उपायुक्त ने आधार अपडेट की आवश्यकता को बताते हुए कहा कि विभिन्न प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं, प्रवेश प्रक्रियाओं व आवेदन के दौरान आधार की आवश्यकता रहती है।

एनटीए, नीट, आईटी, यूपीएससी, सीयूईटी आदि में भी आवेदन करते समय आधार प्रमाणीकरण आवश्यक है यदि उम्मीदवार अपने आधार का आवश्यक बायोमेट्रिक अपडेट (एमबीयू) तथा मोबाईल नंबर अपडेट नही करते हैं तो प्रमाणीकरण विफल हो सकता है।जिला के सभी उपमंडल अधिकारी(ना0) ने वर्चुअल माध्यम से बैठक में भाग लिया। उपायुक्त ने उन्हें 18 वर्ष से उपर के व्यस्क निवासियों के नामांकन का सत्यापन 45 दिनों के भीतर प्राथमिकता आधार पर करने के लिए कहा। उपायुक्त ने शिक्षा विभाग को निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि जिला के सभी सरकारी तथा निजी स्कूलों में पढ़ रहे बच्चों का अनिवार्य बायो मेट्रिक आधार अपडेट करवाना सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होंने 0 से 05 वर्ष के बच्चों का आधार पंजीकरण को बढावा देने के लिए स्वास्थ्य विभाग को निर्देश दिए कि वह वैक्सिनेशन सेंटर पर इस आयु वर्ग के बच्चों का आधार पंजीकरण करवाएं।

उन्होंने जिला में वैक्सिनेशन सेंटर की सूची भी उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए कहा। उपायुक्त ने कहा कि 10 वर्षों से एक स्थान पर रह रहे स्थाई निवासी को भी अपने आधार दस्तावेज अपडेट करवाने आवश्यक है ताकि उन्हें भविष्य में आधार संबंधी परेशानी ना हो। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी व्यक्ति की मृत्यु होने के उपरांत आधार को डी-एक्टिवेट अवश्य करवाएं ताकि उस आधार का किसी भी प्रकार से गलत इस्तेमाल न हो सके। उपायुक्त ने निर्देश दिए कि समय-समय पर आधार केंद्रों का औचक निरीक्षण करें तथा लोगों को आधार संबंधित आने वाली परेशानियों का समाधान करें। बैठक में यूआईडीएआई से आए राज्य परियोजना प्रबंधक विजय शंकर तथा सहायक प्रबंधक अभिषेक कुमार ने यूडीआईएसई पोर्टल पर उपलब्ध अनिवार्य बायोमेट्रिक अपडेट, आधार पंजीकरण अथवा अपडेट के अमान्य होने संबंधी सभी आवश्यक बदलावों व निर्देशों पर विस्तृत जानकारी दी। बैठक में अतिरिक्त जिला दंडाधिकारी एल.आर. वर्मा, पुलिस, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, ग्रामीण विकास एवं पंचायती राज, खाद्य आपूर्ति, डाक विभाग सहित विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी भी बैठक में उपस्थित रहे।

It is very important to update the Aadhaar biometric of children who have completed the age of 5 and 15 years and to get the Aadhaar card made for children between 0 to 5 years. The Aadhaar card of those children who have not updated their Aadhaar card after completing 5 and 15 years may become inactive. This information was given by Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma while presiding over the meeting of the District Level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee in the auditorium of the Deputy Commissioner’s office. She said that after 5 and 15 years, it is necessary to update the children’s facial photo, mobile number, fingerprint and address etc. in Aadhaar. Explaining the need for Aadhaar update, the Deputy Commissioner said that Aadhaar is required during various competitive examinations, admission processes and applications.

Aadhaar authentication is also required for applications to NTA, NEET, IT, UPSC, CUET, etc. If candidates fail to update their Aadhaar’s required biometric (MBU) and mobile number, authentication may fail. All Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) of the district participated in the meeting virtually. The Deputy Commissioner directed them to verify the enrollment of adult residents above 18 years of age on priority within 45 days. The Deputy Commissioner directed the Education Department to ensure mandatory biometric Aadhaar update for children studying in all government and private schools in the district. To promote Aadhaar registration for children aged 0 to 05, he directed the Health Department to ensure Aadhaar registration of children in this age group at vaccination centers.

He also asked for a list of vaccination centers in the district. The Deputy Commissioner stated that even permanent residents who have been living in one place for 10 years are required to update their Aadhaar documents to avoid future Aadhaar-related problems. He also advised that Aadhaar must be deactivated after a person’s death to prevent misuse. The Deputy Commissioner directed that surprise inspections of Aadhaar centers be conducted periodically to resolve Aadhaar-related issues faced by the public. State Project Manager Vijay Shankar and Assistant Manager Abhishek Kumar from UIDAI provided detailed information on all necessary changes and instructions regarding mandatory biometric updates, Aadhaar registration, and invalidation of updates available on the UDISE portal. Additional District Magistrate L.R. Verma, along with officials and employees from various departments, including police, education, health, rural development and panchayati raj, food supply, and postal departments, were also present.
