वीरभद्र सिंह फाउंडेशन के अध्यक्ष (मंत्री) विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि हिमाचल प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री, जननायक स्वर्गीय राजा वीरभद्र सिंह जी की प्रतिमा का अनावरण 13 अक्टूबर, 2025 (सोमवार) को शिमला के ऐतिहासिक रिज मैदान में किया जाएगा। यह आयोजन मूल रूप से 23 जून को उनके जन्मदिवस पर होना प्रस्तावित था, लेकिन प्रदेश में आई भीषण वर्षा व प्राकृतिक आपदा के चलते इसे स्थगित कर दिया गया था।

उस समय फाउंडेशन ने आपदा प्रभावित बच्चों की शिक्षा के लिए ₹11 लाख की राशि उपायुक्त मंडी को अर्पित की थी। अब कांग्रेस उच्च कमान की सहमति व प्रदेश नेतृत्व के परामर्श से तिथि पुनर्निर्धारित की गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस अवसर पर कांग्रेस महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी, मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू, प्रदेश प्रभारी रजनी पाटिल, कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष प्रतिभा सिंह सहित कई विशिष्ट अतिथि मौजूद रहेंगे। वीरभद्र सिंह फाउंडेशन ने प्रदेशवासियों, श्रद्धालुजनों एवं मीडिया को इस ऐतिहासिक क्षण का साक्षी बनने का आग्रह किया है।

Vikramaditya Singh, President (Minister) of the Virbhadra Singh Foundation, stated that the statue of the late Raja Virbhadra Singh, former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and a popular figure, will be unveiled at Shimla’s historic Ridge Maidan on Monday, October 13, 2025. The event was originally scheduled for his birthday, June 23, but was postponed due to heavy rainfall and natural disasters in the state.

At that time, the Foundation had donated ₹11 lakh to the Deputy Commissioner of Mandi for the education of disaster-affected children. Now, with the approval of the Congress high command and in consultation with the state leadership, the date has been rescheduled. He stated that Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, State Incharge Rajni Patil, Congress President Pratibha Singh, and several other distinguished guests will be present on the occasion. The Virbhadra Singh Foundation has requested the people of the state, devotees, and the media to witness this historic moment.
