पांवटा साहिब के शिवपुर पंचायत के अकालगढ़ के सोहन सिंह ईमानदारी की मिसाल पेश की है दअरसल सोमवार को पांवटा साहिब के यूनियन बैंक ATM में सोहन सिंह पैसे निकलवाने के लिए गए थे, जब उन्होंने ATM लगाया तो ATM मशीन से 20हजार रुपए बाहर निकले। जिसके बाद सोहन सिंह ने ये पूरी घटना एक दो लोगों को बताई लोगो ने अलग अलग सलाह दी, जिसमें कई लोगों ने कहा कि ये पैसे पुलिस स्टेशन में दे दो, किसी ने कहा कि बैंक मैनेजर या सिक्योरिटी गार्ड को दे दो लेकिन सोहन सिंह का दिल नहीं माना उन्होंने कहा कि ये जिसके पैसे है उसी व्यक्ति तक डायरेक्ट पहुंचने चाहिए।

उन्होंने बैंक में जांच पड़ताल की लेकिन कोई जानकारी प्राप्त नहीं हुई। उन्होंने बैंक के सिक्योरिटी गार्ड से कहा कि ऐसा कोई मामला आता है तो उन्हें बताया जाए ताकि ये पैसे सही हाथों में पहुंचे। मंगलवार सुबह ही बैंक से फोन आता है कि जिस व्यक्ति के पैसे है वो मिल गया है आप बैंक में आ जाए। सोहन सिंह बैंक पहुंचते है और उस व्यक्ति से पूरी जानकारी लेते है। व्यक्ति ने बताया कि कल वो ATM के माध्यम से पैसे जमा करवाने आए थे उन्होंने 21000 हजार जमा करवाए थे 1 हजार की पर्ची उनको मिली बाकी न तो पैसे मिले और न ही पर्ची उन्होंने सोचा कि पैसे जमा हो गए है। बैंक मैनेजर के माध्यम से पैसे व्यक्ति को दे दिए है। बैंक मैनेजर ने सोहन सिंह की तारीफ करते हुए कहा है कि ऐसे ईमानदार व्यक्ति दुनिया में बहुत कम मिलते है। लोगों को इनसे सीख लेनी चाहिए और उनका धन्यवाद किया।

Sohan Singh of Akalgarh of Shivpur Panchayat of Paonta Sahib has set an example of honesty. Actually on Monday Sohan Singh had gone to the Union Bank ATM of Paonta Sahib to withdraw money. When he plugged the ATM, Rs. 20,000 came out of the machine. After which Sohan Singh narrated the entire incident to a couple of people. People gave different advice, in which many people told him to give the money to the police station, someone told him to give it to the bank manager or security guard but Sohan Singh’s heart did not agree. He said that the money should reach directly to the person to whom it belongs.

He investigated in the bank but did not get any information. He told the security guard of the bank that if any such case comes up then he should be informed so that the money reaches the right hands. On Tuesday morning itself, he gets a call from the bank that the person whose money is there has been found and you should come to the bank. Sohan Singh reaches the bank and takes complete information from that person. The person told that yesterday he had come to deposit money through ATM, he had deposited 21000 thousand, he got a slip of 1 thousand rupees, he neither got the rest of the money nor the slip, he thought that the money has been deposited. He has given the money to the person through the bank manager. The bank manager praised Sohan Singh and said that such honest people are rarely found in the world. People should learn from him and thanked him.
