पुलिस चौकी कच्चा टैंक नाहन की टीम ने गश्त के दौरान अवैध शराब के धंधे का पर्दाफाश करते हुए 9 बोतलें देसी शराब बरामद की हैं। जानकारी के अनुसार, दिनांक 14 सितंबर 2025 को पुलिस टीम गश्त पर थी। इसी दौरान टीम को गुप्त सूचना प्राप्त हुई कि मोहम्मद मेहताब, निवासी मकान नंबर 3246/10, जांबियां गली, कच्चा टैंक नाहन, अवैध रूप से शराब बेचने का काम करता है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर तलाशी ली। तलाशी के दौरान आरोपी के कब्जे से 09 बोतलें देसी शराब बरामद हुईं।पुलिस ने मौके पर ही आरोपी मोहम्मद मेहताब को गिरफ्तार कर लिया और उसके खिलाफ थाना सदर नाहन में Excise Act के अंतर्गत अभियोग पंजीकृत किया गया है। मामले की आगे की जांच जारी है।जिला सिरमौर पुलिस अधीक्षक निश्चित सिंह नेगी ने कहा कि पुलिस टीम अवैध शराब और नशा तस्करों के खिलाफ लगातार सख्त कार्रवाई कर रही है। उन्होंने लोगों से भी अपील की कि इस तरह की किसी भी गतिविधि की सूचना तुरंत पुलिस को दें।

On the basis of the information, the police reached the spot and searched. During the search, 09 bottles of country liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused. The police arrested the accused Mohammad Mehtab on the spot and a case has been registered against him under the Excise Act at Police Station Sadar Nahan. Further investigation of the case is going on. District Sirmaur Superintendent of Police Nishchay Singh Negi said that the police team is continuously taking strict action against illegal liquor and drug smugglers. He also appealed to the people to immediately inform the police about any such activity.
