देहरादून अवैध घुसपैठ पर पुलिस का शिकंजा, बांग्लादेशी महिला नागरिक गिरफ्तार

देहरादून:पटेलनगर क्षेत्र में रविवार को पुलिस, एलआईयू और एसओजी की संयुक्त कार्रवाई के तहत दो बांग्लादेशी महिला नागरिकों को अवैध रूप से भारत में निवास करते हुए गिरफ्तार किया गया। यह कार्रवाई ऑपरेशन कालनेमि के अंतर्गत की गई।

जानकारी के अनुसार, पूजा विहार चन्द्रबनी क्षेत्र में संयुक्त टीम ने चेकिंग अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान संदिग्ध पाई गई दोनों महिलाओं की तलाशी में बांग्लादेशी परिचय पत्र और परिवार रजिस्टर बरामद हुए। पूछताछ में दोनों ने स्वीकार किया कि वे पश्चिम बंगाल बॉर्डर से अवैध तरीके से भारतीय सीमा में दाखिल हुई थीं।

गिरफ्तार महिलाओं की पहचान यासमीन पुत्री मोहम्मद तोहिद मियां (निवासी सिलहट, बांग्लादेश) और राशिदा बेगम पुत्री मोहम्मद उल्ला (निवासी चटग्राम, बांग्लादेश) के रूप में हुई है।पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि दोनों को नियमानुसार बांग्लादेश डिपोर्ट करने की वैधानिक प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी गई है।

गौरतलब है कि अब तक ऑपरेशन कालनेमि के तहत देहरादून से पांच अवैध बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों को गिरफ्तार कर डिपोर्ट किया जा चुका है, जबकि सात अन्य के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर उन्हें जेल भेजा गया है।

उपनिरीक्षक कल्पना सजवान (एलआईयू सहसपुर), उपनिरीक्षक संदीप लोहान (एसओजी), कांस्टेबल गौतम कुमार (एलआईयू), हेड कांस्टेबल प्रदीप कुमार (एलआईयू), कांस्टेबल ललित (एसओजी), कांस्टेबल आशीष (एसओजी), कांस्टेबल पंकज (एसओजी) और महिला कांस्टेबल गीता रावत (थाना पटेलनगर)।

Dehradun: On Sunday, two Bangladeshi women citizens were arrested in India under joint action of police, LIU and SOG in Patel Nagar area. This action was taken under Operation Kalnemi. According to the information, joint team checked in Pooja Vihar Chandrabani areaCampaned. During this time, Bangladeshi Identity Card and Family Register were recovered in the search of the two women found suspicious. During interrogation, both of them admitted that they had illegally entered the Indian border from the West Bengal border. The arrested women were identified as Yasmin daughter Mohammad Tohid Mian (resident Sylhat, Bangladesh) and Rashida Begum daughter Mohammad Ulla (resident Chatgram, Bangladesh)The police officials said that the statutory process has been started to submit both of them to Bangladesh as per rules. It is worth noting that till now five illegal Bangladeshi citizens have been arrested and sent from Dehradun under Operation Kalnemi, while a case has been filed against seven others and sent to jail.
