शहीद सोहन सिंह मेमोरियल राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय मानपुर देवड़ा में चल रहे सात दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (NSS) विशेष शिविर में विद्यार्थियों के लिए जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य अनिल कुमार नागवाल ने की। इस अवसर पर एन.एस.एस. शिविर प्रभारी विनोद कपूर, महिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी सुमन ठाकुर के नेतृत्व में स्वयंसेवियों ने शिविर गतिविधियों में सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाई। विद्यालय स्टाफ अन्य कार्यक्रम में मौजूद रहे।

कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में समाजसेवा, कानूनी साक्षरता, नशा मुक्ति और साइबर सुरक्षा, स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता लाना तथा समाज के प्रति उनकी जिम्मेदारी को समझाना था। इस दौरान छात्रों ने हिमाचल ने आई आपदा को लेकर मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष के लिए धन एकत्र किया , स्कूल के पास चल रही भागवत कथा में जाकर भी उन्होंने राहत कोष के लिए पैसे जुटाए जिसे शिविर के समापन पर मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष में भेजा जाएगा।

An awareness program was organized for the students in the seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) special camp going on at Shaheed Sohan Singh Memorial Government Senior Secondary School, Manpur Devda. The program was presided over by the school’s principal Anil Kumar Nagwal. On this occasion, under the leadership of NSS camp in-charge Vinod Kapoor, women program officer Suman Thakur, volunteers took active part in the camp activities. The school staff was present in other programs.

The objective of the program was to make the students aware of social service, legal literacy, de-addiction and cyber security, health and to make them understand their responsibility towards the society. During this, the students collected money for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the disaster in Himachal. They also collected money for the relief fund by attending the Bhagwat Katha being held near the school, which will be sent to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund at the end of the camp.
