प्राकृतिक आपदा की मार झेलने के बाद एक बार फिर हिमाचल प्रदेश में पर्यटन कारोबार पटरी पर लौटने लगा है। करीब दो महीने के लंबे अंतराल के बाद शिमला, कुफरी, नारकंडा, चायल, कसौली सहित साथ लगते अन्य पर्यटन स्थलों पर सैलानियों की चहलकदमी शुरू हो गई है। दुर्गा पूजा टूरिस्ट सीजन के लिए होटलों में इंक्वायरी शुरू हो गई है। शिमला, किन्नौर, चायल और कसौली जैसे टूरिस्ट हॉट स्पॉट में होटल व होमस्टे संचालकों के पास पूछताछ बढ़ी है। कारोबारियों में भी उम्मीद जगी है कि आने वाले हफ्तों में कारोबार दोबारा रफ्तार पकड़ेगा। मौसम खुलने के बाद इस वीकेंड से सैलानियों की संख्या भी बढ़ने की उम्मीद है।

यातायात व्यवस्था बहाल होने के साथ पर्यटन उद्योग को भी गति मिल रही है। होटल व्यवसायियों का कहना है कि सितंबर के अंत तक दुर्गा पूजा की छुट्टियां शुरू होते ही उत्तर भारत सहित बंगाल, मद्रास और गुजरात से पर्यटकों की संख्या बढ़ने लगेगी। फेडरेशन ऑफ होटल एंड रेस्टोरेंट्स एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष गजेंद्र चंद ठाकुर का कहना है कि प्रदेश में बारिश थमने के बाद तेजी से राहत कार्य शुरू हो चुके हैं। कम संख्या में सैलानियों ने हिमाचल आना शुरू कर दिया है। ट्रैवल एजेंट्स एसोसिएशन के महासचिव मनु सूद का कहना है कि बाहरी राज्यों के सैलानी पर्यटन स्थलों पर पहुंचना शुरू हो गए हैं। वापस लौटने पर यह लोग हिमाचल के सामान्य होते हालातों से दूसरे लोगों को अवगत करवाएंगे।

After a long gap of about two months, tourists have started visiting Shimla, Kufri, Narkanda, Chail, Kasauli and other nearby tourist places. Inquiries have started in hotels for the Durga Puja tourist season. Inquiries have increased with hotel and homestay operators in tourist hot spots like Shimla, Kinnaur, Chail and Kasauli. Businessmen are also hopeful that business will pick up again in the coming weeks. After the weather opens up, the number of tourists is also expected to increase from this weekend.

With the restoration of traffic system, the tourism industry is also gaining momentum. Hoteliers say that as soon as the Durga Puja holidays begin by the end of September, the number of tourists from North India including Bengal, Madras and Gujarat will start increasing. Federation of Hotel and Restaurants Association President Gajendra Chand Thakur says that after the rains stopped in the state, relief work has started rapidly. A small number of tourists have started coming to Himachal. Travel Agents Association General Secretary Manu Sood says that tourists from outside states have started reaching tourist places. On returning, these people will inform others about the normalizing conditions in Himachal.
