पांवटा साहिब-शिलाई-हाटकोटी एनएच-707 का कार्य प्रगति पर है। फरवरी माह में कमरऊ पंचायत में एनएच चौड़ीकरण के लिए कटिंग का कार्य किया गया। इस दौरान गलत कटिंग कर फसल लगे खेत को बर्बाद कर दिया गया।अर्जित की गई भूमि से बाहर जाकर कमरऊ के तीन परिवारों की करीब 17 बिस्वा उपजाऊ भूमि बर्बाद कर दी गई। इसके चलते प्रभावित परिवारों और ग्रामीणों में रोष बढ़ता जा रहा है। ग्राम पंचायत कमरऊ के प्रधान मोहन ठाकुर ने बताया कि एनएच के लिए कमरऊ में गलत कटिंग कर दी गई। इसके चलते आधा दर्जन घर और मां काली मंदिर तक को खतरा पैदा हो गया था। दीपचंंद तोमर, मुंशी राम तोमर और ध्यान सिंह की निजी भूमि गलत कटिंग से बर्बाद हो गई। पीड़ित भूमि मालिकों की कोई सुनवाई नहीं होने पर इन परिवारों ने विरोध जताया और अपने हक की आवाज उठाई।

मई माह में पहले मोर्थ, स्थानीय प्रशासन, पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों और प्रभावित परिवारों की संयुक्त बैठक हुई। इसके बाद फैसला हुआ कि भूमि की निशानदेही करवाई जाए। अगर एनएच द्वारा अर्जित की गई भूमि से बाहर निजी उपजाऊ भूमि बर्बाद हुई है तो प्रभावित परिवारों को इसका मुआवजा मिले। समाजसेवी नाथू राम चौहान, सुरेंद्र सिंह, रामभज तोमर, किन्नौर सिंह व सुरेश राणा ने बताया कि एक माह पहले कमरऊ तहसील से कफोटा एसडीएम कार्यालय में इसकी फाइल भेजी जा चुकी है। कफोटा कार्यालय से मात्र 41 किलोमीटर दूर पांवटा मोर्थ कार्यालय तक एक माह के भीतर भी प्रभावित तीनों परिवारों की फाइल नहीं पहुंच सकी है। राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग-707 परियोजना के प्रोजेक्ट डायरेक्टर (मोर्थ) शाश्वत पात्रा ने बताया कि अभी तक कमरऊ के प्रभावितों की फाइल नहीं पहुंची है। कफोटा एसडीएम कार्यालय से फाइल पहुंचने के बाद ही इसमें आगामी प्रक्रिया शुरू हो सकेगी।

The work of Paonta Sahib-Shilai-Hatkoti NH-707 is in progress. In the month of February, cutting work was done for NH widening in Kamaru Panchayat. During this, crop fields were destroyed by wrong cutting. Nearly 17 biswa fertile land of three families of Kamaru was destroyed by going outside the acquired land. Due to this, anger is increasing among the affected families and villagers. Village Panchayat Kamaru’s Pradhan Mohan Thakur said that wrong cutting was done in Kamaru for NH. Due to this, half a dozen houses and even Maa Kali temple were in danger. Private land of Deepchand Tomar, Munshi Ram Tomar and Dhyan Singh was destroyed by wrong cutting. When there was no hearing of the affected land owners, these families protested and raised their voice for their rights.

In the month of May, a joint meeting of the MORTH, local administration, panchayat representatives and affected families was held. After this, it was decided that the land should be marked. If private fertile land outside the land acquired by the NH has been destroyed, then the affected families should be compensated for it. Social workers Nathu Ram Chauhan, Surendra Singh, Rambhaj Tomar, Kinnaur Singh and Suresh Rana said that a month ago its file has been sent from Kamaru tehsil to Kafota SDM office. Even within a month, the file of the three affected families has not reached Paonta MORTH office, which is just 41 kilometers away from Kafota office. Shashvat Patra, Project Director (MORTH) of National Highway-707 project, said that till now the file of the affected people of Kamaru has not reached. The next process will start only after the file reaches Kafota SDM office.
