पांवटा साहिब में आज एसडीएम गुंजित सिंह चीमा की अध्यक्षता में राज्य स्तरीय यमुना शरद् महोत्सव के सफल आयोजन के संदर्भ में बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक के दौरान गुंजित सिंह चीमा ने बताया कि इस वर्ष राज्य स्तरीय यमुना शरद् महोत्सव 04 अक्तूबर से 06 अक्तूबर 2025 तक पांवटा साहिब में भव्य एवं परम्परागत ढंग से आयोजित किया जाएगा। इस बैठक में यमुना शरद् महोत्सव के आयोजन की तैयारियों को लेकर विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारियों एवं स्थानीय गणमान्य व्यक्तियों से चर्चा की गई तथा आयोजन को सफल बनाने के लिए विभिन्न समितियों का गठन भी किया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि मेले में उच्च स्तर के कलाकारों द्वारा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए जाएंगे।

मेले के मुख्य आकर्षणों में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों सहित खेलकूद प्रतियोगितायें भी शामिल रहेंगी। इस दौरान विभिन्न विभागों द्वारा प्रदर्शनियाँ भी लगायी जाएंगी। गुंजीत चीमा ने बताया कि मेले में स्वयं सहायता समूह की सदस्यों द्वारा स्थानीय उत्पादों की प्रदर्शनियां भी लगाने का निर्णय लिया गया है ताकि महिलाओं को अपने उत्पाद के विक्रय का उचित मंच मिल सके। इस अवसर पर वन मण्डल अधिकारी वेद प्रकाश, तहसीलदार ऋषभ शर्मा, बीएमओ के एल भगत, बीडीओ विकास बंसल, ईओएमसी कंचन बाला, सीडीपीओ संतोष गुप्ता तथा अध्यक्ष चेंबर ऑफ़ कॉमर्स सतीश गोयल सहित विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी मौजूद रहे।

A meeting was held in Paonta Sahib today under the chairmanship of SDM Gunjit Singh Cheema regarding the successful organization of the state level Yamuna Sharad Mahotsav. During the meeting, Gunjit Singh Cheema informed that this year the state level Yamuna Sharad Mahotsav will be organized in a grand and traditional manner in Paonta Sahib from 04 October to 06 October 2025. In this meeting, discussions were held with officials of various departments and local dignitaries regarding the preparations for the organization of Yamuna Sharad Mahotsav and various committees were also formed to make the event successful. He informed that cultural programs will be presented by high level artists in the fair.

The main attractions of the fair will include cultural programs as well as sports competitions. During this time, exhibitions will also be organized by various departments. Gunjit Cheema said that it has been decided to organize exhibitions of local products by the members of self-help groups in the fair so that women can get a proper platform to sell their products. On this occasion, Forest Division Officer Ved Prakash, Tehsildar Rishabh Sharma, BMO KL Bhagat, BDO Vikas Bansal, EOMC Kanchan Bala, CDPO Santosh Gupta and President Chamber of Commerce Satish Goyal along with officers and employees of various departments were present.
