खेलो इंडिया के तहत रग्बी अस्मिता लीग जो की रोशनबाद स्टेडियम हरिद्वार उत्तराखंड में संपन्न हुई थी। उसमें गोल्ड मेडल जीतने पर सिरमौर की कोटड़ी व्यास की छात्रों का स्कूल प्रांगण में पहुंचने पर जोरदार स्वागत किया गया। स्कूल प्रिंसिपल रघुवीर चौहान लेक्चर चतर चौहान शारीरिक शिक्षक धर्मेंद्र चौधरी शशि गुप्ता ज्योति कुमारी सुषमा ओमप्रकाश राकेश, किरण, हेमलता, किरण कपूर आदि ने उन्हें फूल मालाओं से सम्मानित किया व पूरे स्कूली बच्चों ने ढोल व कलेपिंग से सम्मानित किया। शारीरिक शिक्षक धर्मेंद्र चौधरी व स्टॉफ ने उनका मुंह मीठा करवाया।

स्कूल प्रशासन ने कहा कि यह हमारे लिए गर्व का विषय है कि इतने बड़े टूर्नामेंट में गोल्ड लेकर आना कोटडी व्यास के लिए ही नहीं जिला सिरमौर अपितु हिमाचल प्रदेश के लिए गर्व का विषय है। धर्मेंद्र चौधरी ने बताया कि लगातार सुबह-शाम प्रेक्टिस करने का फल उनके खिलाड़ी छात्राओं को मिला है। इस मौके पर धर्मेंद्र चौधरी को भी सम्मानित किया गया। इस मौके पर स्कूल प्रशासन वह पूरे कोटडी व्यास में खुशी का माहौल था। सभी स्टाफ मेंबर ने इन खिलाड़ियों के लिए सहभोज का आयोजन इस जीत के उपलक्ष पर किया जाएगा। वही एसएमसी प्रधान श्रीमान सिंह मुल्क राज सुमन देवी मीरा देवी राजकुमार सरबजीत कौर ने भी इन खिलाड़ियों कोटडी व्यास का ही नहीं पूरे प्रदेश का नाम रोशन किया है यह बधाई के पात्र है।

Rugby Asmita League under Khelo India was concluded at Roshanabad Stadium, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. After winning the gold medal in it, the students of Kotdi Vyas of Sirmaur were given a rousing welcome on reaching the school premises. School Principal Raghuveer Chauhan, Lecturer Chatar Chauhan, Physical Teacher Dharmendra Chaudhary, Shashi Gupta, Jyoti Kumari, Sushma Omprakash, Rakesh, Kiran, Hemlata, Kiran Kapoor etc. honored them with garlands and the entire school children honored them with drums and clapping. Physical Teacher Dharmendra Chaudhary and the staff gave them sweets.

The school administration said that it is a matter of pride for us that bringing gold in such a big tournament is a matter of pride not only for Kotdi Vyas but for the entire Sirmaur district but also for Himachal Pradesh. Dharmendra Chaudhary said that his players have got the reward of practicing continuously in the morning and evening. Dharmendra Chaudhary was also honored on this occasion. There was an atmosphere of happiness in the school administration and in entire Kotdi Vyas on this occasion. All the staff members will organize a lunch for these players on the occasion of this victory. The SMC head Shriman Singh, Mulk Raj, Suman Devi, Meera Devi, Rajkumar, Sarabjeet Kaur also deserve congratulations because these players have brought laurels not only to Kotdi Vyas but to the entire state.
