उपायुक्त सिरमौर प्रियंका वर्मा ने विकास खण्ड शिलाई की ग्राम पंचायत मिल्लाह की प्रधान देबो देवी को अपने कर्तव्यों के निर्वहन में अवचार का दोषी पाये जाने पर ग्राम पंचायत मिल्लाह के प्रधान पद से तत्काल हटाने के आदेश जारी किए है। छह वर्ष की कालावधि के लिए पंचायत के पदाधिकारी के रूप मे निर्वाचित होने के लिए निर्रहित (अयोग्य) करने के भी आदेश जारी किए है।उपायुक्त ने यह भी आदेश जारी किए है कि वह दुरूपयोग की गई ₹ 4,70,471 /- की धनराशि को तुरंत पंचायत निधि खाते में जमा करवाना सुनिश्चित करें। इसके अतिरिक्त उनके पास ग्राम पंचायत मिल्लाह़ की नकद राशि या पंचायत अभिलेख या अन्य कोई स्टोर/स्टॉक का सामान हो तो उसे भी प्रधान पद की मोहर के साथ तुरंत सचिव, ग्राम पंचायत मिल्लाह को सौंपना सुनिश्चित करें।

Deputy Commissioner Sirmour Priyanka Verma has issued orders to immediately remove Pradhan Debo Devi of Millah Gram Panchayat of Development Block Shillai from the post of Pradhan of Millah Gram Panchayat after she was found guilty of misconduct in discharging her duties. Orders have also been issued to disqualify her from being elected as an officer of the Panchayat for a period of six years. The Deputy Commissioner has also issued orders that she should immediately ensure that the misused amount of ₹ 4,70,471 /- is deposited in the Panchayat Fund Account. Apart from this, if she has cash amount of Millah Gram Panchayat or Panchayat records or any other store / stock items, then she should also immediately ensure to hand over the same to the Secretary, Gram Panchayat Millah with the seal of the Pradhan post.
