गाहना नदी पर पुल निर्माण की उठी मांग, विधायक को सौंपा गया ज्ञापन

रुद्रपुर: गाहना नदी पर पुल निर्माण की मांग को लेकर जनप्रतिनिधियों और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं का एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल विधायक मुन्ना सिंह चौहान से उनके निजी निवास और कार्यालय पर मिला। प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व सेवा निवृत्त शिक्षक एवं समाजसेवी नरेन्द्र सिंह तोमर ने किया। उनके साथ रुद्रपुर क्षेत्र पंचायत सदस्य मोहन सिंह चौहान उर्फ मोनू और ग्राम प्रधान रविन्द्र कुमार भी मौजूद रहे।

प्रतिनिधियों ने रुद्रपुर से बडवा गांव के बीच गाहना नदी पर पुल निर्माण की आवश्यकता को गंभीरता से रखते हुए ज्ञापन सौंपा। ज्ञापन में उल्लेख किया गया कि नदी के पार रुद्रपुर वासियों की कृषि भूमि स्थित है, लेकिन बरसात के मौसम में नदी में जलस्तर बढ़ जाने से किसानों को खेतों तक पहुंचने में भारी कठिनाई होती है।

इसके अतिरिक्त क्षेत्र के प्रमुख शिक्षण संस्थान राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज डोभरी के विद्यार्थियों सहित तिलवाड़ी, बिरसनी, कोटड़ा, होरावाला, चांदपुर, सोरना, डोभरी और बडवा जैसे कई गांवों के लोगों का आवागमन भी इसी मार्ग से होता है।

क्षेत्र पंचायत सदस्य मोहन सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि गाहना नदी पर पुल का निर्माण स्थानीय जनता की बुनियादी जरूरत है और इससे ग्रामीणों को बड़ी राहत मिलेगी। उन्होंने अपेक्षा जताई कि विधायक इस विषय को प्राथमिकता देते हुए शीघ्र कार्यवाही करेंगे।

Demand Raised for Bridge Construction over Gahana River, Memorandum Submitted to MLA

Rudrapur: A delegation of public representatives and social workers met MLA Munna Singh Chauhan at his private residence and office, demanding the construction of a bridge over the Gahana River. The delegation was led by retired teacher and social worker Narendra Singh Tomar. He was accompanied by Rudrapur area block member Mohan Singh Chauhan (Monu) and village head of Rudrapur, Ravindra Kumar.

The delegation submitted a memorandum highlighting the urgent need for a bridge between Rudrapur and Badwa village over the Gahana River. The memorandum stated that agricultural land belonging to Rudrapur residents lies across the river, but during the monsoon season, rising water levels cause major difficulties for farmers to access their fields.

In addition, students from the Government Inter College Dobhri, as well as residents from surrounding villages like Tilwadi, Birsani, Kotda, Horawala, Chandpur, Sorna, Dobhri, and Badwa, use this route regularly for commuting.

Block member Mohan Singh Chauhan stated that the construction of the bridge is a basic necessity for the local population and would bring significant relief to the villagers. He expressed hope that the MLA would give the matter due priority and take prompt action.
