नाहन में 8 दिनों से पेयजल किल्लत जारी है। कई क्षेत्रों में तो पानी के लिए त्राहिमाम है। हालांकि पानी की कमी न हो इसको लेकर जलशक्ति विभाग ऐढ़ी-चोटी के जोर लगा रहा है। शुक्रवार को खैरी उठाऊ पेयजल योजना भी सुचारू हो गई है, लेकिन यह नाकाफी साबित हो रहा है। जानकारी के अनुसार दिन-रात एक कर शुक्रवार को विभाग की ओर से खैरी उठाऊ पेयजल योजना को बहाल कर दिया है। योजना से पहले दिन 8 लाख लीटर पानी भी लिफ्ट किया गया है और शहर में इसकी आपूर्ति भी विभाग ने शुरू कर दी है। इसके बावजूद भी शहर में करीब 4-5 वार्डों में पानी की समस्या बरकरार है। वहीं, शहर की रियासतकाल में बनी सबसे पुरानी नेहरस्वार पेयजल योजना भी सुचारू चल रही है और योजना से प्रतिदिन करीब 12 लाख लीटर पानी लिया जा रहा है। ऐसे में अब दो योजनाओं से पानी मिलने के बाद शहर को करीब 20 लाख लीटर पानी मिल रहा है, लेकिन 40 से 45 लाख लीटर प्रतिदिन की खपत वाले शहर के लिए यह नाकाफी साबित हो रहा है।

मुख्य गिरि उठाऊ पेयजल योजना को बहाल करने में जुटा विभाग

खैरी उठाऊ पेयजल योजना के बहाल हो जाने के बाद अब शहर में दो-तीन दिन के भीतर पानी का संकट काफी कम होने की उम्मीद है। फिलहाल करीब 8 दिनों से पानी न मिलने के बाद समस्या अधिक हो रही थी। विभाग की मानें तो दो दिनों तक टैंकर भी बंद हो जाएंगे। अब विभाग पुरी तरह से शहर की मुख्य गिरि उठाऊ पेयजल योजना को बहाल करने में जुट गया है। इस योजना के 7 ट्यूबवैलों में से मात्र एक ही चल रहा है जबकि अन्य बंद पड़े हैं। ऐसे में आसपास के क्षेत्रों के दो ट्यूबवैल इस योजना से जोड़ दिए गए हैं। अभी गिरि नदी का जल स्तर काफी अधिक होने के चलते टीमों का मौके पर जाना संभव नहीं हो पा रहा है। जलस्तर कम होने का इंतजार किया जा रहा है। वहीं, लाइनों को जोड़ने का काम भी युद्धस्तर पर किया जा रहा है। शनिवार से इसकी टेस्टिंग होगी।

Right now, due to the water level of Giri river being very high, it is not possible for the teams to go to the spot. Waiting for the water level to decrease.
