भारतीय मौसम विभाग (IMD) शिमला द्वारा सिरमौर जिले के लिए 3 सितम्बर को ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। इसमें कई स्थानों पर भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश की चेतावनी दी गई है। संभावित भूस्खलन, अचानक बाढ़, पेड़ गिरने और सड़क मार्ग बाधित होने जैसी परिस्थितियों को देखते हुए जिला प्रशासन ने बड़ा निर्णय लिया है।जिला दंडाधिकारी एवं अध्यक्ष, जिला आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (DDMA) सिरमौर, प्रियंका वर्मा (IAS) ने आदेश जारी कर बताया कि विद्यार्थियों की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए 3 सितम्बर 2025 को जिले के सभी सरकारी और निजी शैक्षणिक संस्थान तथा आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र बंद रहेंगे।

आदेश में कहा गया है कि शिक्षकों और अन्य कर्मचारियों को भी 3 सितम्बर को स्कूल आने से छूट रहेगी। हालांकि, विद्यार्थियों की पढ़ाई प्रभावित न हो, इसके लिए ऑनलाइन कक्षाएं आयोजित करने के प्रयास करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।सिरमौर जिले में पिछले कई दिनों से लगातार बारिश हो रही है। इसके चलते ग्रामीण और दुर्गम क्षेत्रों में भूस्खलन, सड़क अवरुद्ध होने और सामान्य जीवन प्रभावित होने की स्थिति बनी हुई है। प्रशासन का कहना है कि यह आदेश एहतियात के तौर पर जारी किया गया है ताकि किसी भी प्रकार की अनहोनी से बचा जा सके और विद्यार्थियों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित हो सके।जिला प्रशासन ने सभी संस्थानों और विभागीय अधिकारियों को आदेश का सख्ती से पालन करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। आदेश का उल्लंघन करने पर आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम, 2005 की धारा 51-60 के अंतर्गत कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Shimla has issued an orange alert for Sirmaur district on September 3. It has warned of heavy to very heavy rains at many places. In view of the circumstances like possible landslides, flash floods, falling trees and road blockages, the district administration has taken a big decision. District Magistrate and Chairperson, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Sirmaur, Priyanka Verma (IAS) issued an order stating that keeping in mind the safety of the students, all government and private educational institutions and Anganwadi centers in the district will remain closed on 3 September 2025.

The order states that teachers and other staff will also be exempted from coming to school on September 3. However, instructions have been given to make efforts to conduct online classes so that the studies of the students are not affected. It has been raining continuously in Sirmaur district for the last several days. Due to this, there is a situation of landslides, road blockage and normal life being affected in rural and remote areas. The administration says that this order has been issued as a precaution so that any kind of untoward incident can be avoided and the safety of the students can be ensured. The district administration has instructed all the institutions and departmental officials to strictly follow the order. In case of violation of the order, strict action will be taken under Section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
