पांवटा साहिब में नगर परिषद की ओर से सफाई कर्मचारियों को कार्यस्थल पर सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए लांग शू, रेनकोट, ग्लव्ज़ व मास्क वितरित किए गए। नगर परिषद अधिकारियों का कहना है इन उपकरणों से कर्मचारियों को बारिश व धूल मिट्टी से बचाव मिलेगा सफाई कर्मचारियों के परिवारों ने भी इस पहल को सराहा है। रोज़ाना गंदगी और संक्रमण के बीच काम करने वाले कर्मचारियों को अब अतिरिक्त सुरक्षा मिलेगी। सफाई कर्मचारी ने कहा “हम पहले बिना सुरक्षा के काम करते थे, जिससे बीमारी का खतरा हमेशा बना रहता था। परिषद ने भरोसा दिलाया है कि कर्मचारियों को समय समय पर आवश्यक संसाधन उपलब्ध कराए जाते रहेंगे।

In Paonta Sahib, the Nagar Parishad distributed long shoes, raincoats, gloves and masks to the sanitation workers to ensure safety at the workplace. Nagar Parishad officials say that these equipment will protect the workers from rain and dust. The families of the sanitation workers have also appreciated this initiative. The workers who work amidst dirt and infection every day will now get additional protection. The sanitation worker said, “Earlier we used to work without protection, due to which there was always a risk of disease. The council has assured that the necessary resources will be made available to the workers from time to time.
