सिरमौर जिला के राजगढ़ उपमंडल के नेरी गांव की 5 वर्षीय प्रतिभाशाली बच्ची निधि ठाकुर ने कम उम्र में ही अपनी अद्भुत प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करते हुए पूरे क्षेत्र का नाम रोशन किया है। सोलन में आयोजित 9वीं राज्य स्तरीय यूसीमैस मेंटल अरिथमेटिक प्रतियोगिता में निधि ने शानदार प्रदर्शन कर गोल्ड मेडल अपने नाम किया। प्रतियोगिता का स्तर बेहद कठिन माना जाता है। इसमें बच्चों को मात्र आठ मिनट में 200 गणितीय प्रश्न हल करने होते हैं। इतनी कम उम्र में इस चुनौतीपूर्ण प्रतियोगिता में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन कर निधि ने यह साबित कर दिया है कि मेहनत और लगन से बड़ी से बड़ी सफलता हासिल की जा सकती है। निधि की इस उपलब्धि से उनके परिजन व शिक्षक अत्यंत गौरवान्वित हैं।

उनके पिता अशोक ठाकुर और माता अनिता ठाकुर ने बताया कि निधि को बचपन से ही पढ़ाई का शौक है और गणित उसका प्रिय विषय है। जिस उम्र में बच्चे अक्सर खेलकूद में व्यस्त रहते हैं, वहीं निधि अपना अधिकतर समय पढ़ाई और गणितीय सवालों को हल करने में लगाती है। अनमोल यूसीमैस सेंटर की छात्रा निधि ने प्रतियोगिता में एक साथ कई मुकाम हासिल किए। उन्होंने लिसनिंग राउंड में गोल्ड मेडल, विजुअल सीट में थर्ड रनर-अप और फ्लैश राउंड में चैंपियन का खिताब जीता। इस प्रतियोगिता में उनके सेंटर के कुल 47 छात्रों ने भाग लिया था, लेकिन निधि का प्रदर्शन सबसे अलग और बेहतरीन रहा।निधि की इस सफलता से पूरे राजगढ़ क्षेत्र में खुशी और गर्व की लहर है। गांव-समाज के लोग इस नन्ही प्रतिभा की उपलब्धि पर गर्व महसूस कर रहे हैं और मानते हैं कि निधि आने वाले समय में और भी बड़ी सफलताएं हासिल करेगी।

Nidhi Thakur, a 5-year-old talented girl from Neri village of Rajgarh subdivision of Sirmaur district, has brought laurels to the entire region by showcasing her amazing talent at a young age. Nidhi performed brilliantly and won the gold medal in the 9th state level UCIMS Mental Arithmetic Competition held in Solan. The level of the competition is considered to be very difficult. In this, children have to solve 200 mathematical questions in just eight minutes. By performing excellently in this challenging competition at such a young age, Nidhi has proved that with hard work and dedication, even the biggest success can be achieved. Nidhi’s family and teachers are extremely proud of this achievement.

Her father Ashok Thakur and mother Anita Thakur said that Nidhi is fond of studies since childhood and mathematics is her favourite subject. At an age when children are often busy playing sports, Nidhi spends most of her time studying and solving mathematical problems. Nidhi, a student of Anmol UCIMS Centre, achieved many milestones simultaneously in the competition. She won the gold medal in the listening round, third runner-up in the visual seat and the title of champion in the flash round. A total of 47 students of her centre participated in this competition, but Nidhi’s performance was different and the best. There is a wave of happiness and pride in the entire Rajgarh region due to Nidhi’s success. The people of the village and society are feeling proud of the achievement of this little talent and believe that Nidhi will achieve even greater success in the coming times.
