सोलन-बड़ोग सड़क पर पंच परमेश्वर मंदिर के पास भारी मात्रा में मलबा सड़क पर आ गिरा। इस मलबे की चपेट में आने से सड़क पूरी तरह अवरुद्ध हो गई है और वाहनों की आवाजाही पर रोक लग गई है। भूस्खलन के कारण न केवल स्थानीय यातायात प्रभावित हुआ है, बल्कि चंडीगढ़ से शिमला और शिमला से चंडीगढ़ जाने वाले यात्रियों को भी परेशानी झेलनी पड़ रही है। प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि इस मार्ग से फिलहाल यातायात संभव नहीं है। यात्रियों से अपील की गई है कि वे इस रास्ते का इस्तेमाल न करें और कुम्हारहट्टी बायपास के जरिए सफर करें। स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, सड़क बंद होने के चलते अब बड़ोग पहुँचने के लिए करीब छह किलोमीटर का अतिरिक्त सफर करना पड़ रहा है।

फिलहाल यातायात को बड़ोग बाईपास से डायवर्ट किया गया है। वहीं, लोक निर्माण विभाग (PWD) की टीम राहत और बहाली कार्य में जुटी हुई है। मौके पर तैनात जेसीबी मशीन लगातार मलबा हटाने की कोशिश कर रही है। प्रशासन ने लोगों से धैर्य बनाए रखने और सुरक्षा को प्राथमिकता देने की अपील की है। उन्होंने कहा कि सड़क को जल्द से जल्द बहाल करने के लिए युद्धस्तर पर काम जारी है। फिलहाल, यात्रियों को वैकल्पिक मार्ग का ही उपयोग करना होगा।

A huge amount of debris fell on the road near Panch Parmeshwar Temple on Solan-Barog road. Due to this debris, the road has been completely blocked and the movement of vehicles has been stopped. Due to the landslide, not only local traffic has been affected, but passengers going from Chandigarh to Shimla and Shimla to Chandigarh are also facing problems. The administration has clarified that traffic is not possible on this route at present. Passengers have been appealed not to use this route and travel through Kumharhatti bypass. According to the local people, due to the road being closed, now one has to travel an additional six kilometers to reach Barog.

At present, the traffic has been diverted from Barog bypass. At the same time, the Public Works Department (PWD) team is engaged in relief and restoration work. The JCB machine deployed on the spot is continuously trying to remove the debris. The administration has appealed to the people to maintain patience and give priority to safety. He said that work is going on on a war footing to restore the road as soon as possible. For now, passengers will have to use the alternative route.
