विकासनगर में झपटमारी की वारदात का खुलासा, आरोपी गिरफ्तार, ₹1.20 लाख का माल बरामद!

देहरादून। विकासनगर थाना क्षेत्र में एक युवक के साथ झपटमारी की वारदात को अंजाम देने वाले आरोपी को पुलिस ने घटना के 24 घंटे के भीतर गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। पुलिस टीम ने आरोपी के कब्जे से पीड़ित का मोबाइल, एटीएम कार्ड और चोरी की गई मोटरसाइकिल भी बरामद कर ली है।

जानकारी के मुताबिक शिकायतकर्ता फतेह सिंह चौहान पुत्र स्व. केदार सिंह चौहान, निवासी चकराता रोड लाइन, जीवनगढ़, ने 27 अगस्त 2025 को विकासनगर कोतवाली में तहरीर दी कि 26 अगस्त की शाम करीब 7:30 बजे वह शहीद नामक व्यक्ति (निवासी आर.डी.एन. होटल के पास, बाईपास रोड) के साथ बाडवाला स्थित वन विभाग बैरियर के पास बैठकर शराब पी रहा था। शराब पीते समय शहीद ने अचानक फतेह सिंह की लोअर की जेब में हाथ डालकर उसका मोबाइल फोन (iPhone), डीसीबी बैंक का एटीएम कार्ड, कुछ नगदी और सुपर स्प्लेंडर बाइक (UK16A-4321) लेकर मौके से फरार हो गया।

शिकायत पर थाना विकासनगर में आरोपी के विरुद्ध मु0अ0सं0-248/2025, धारा 304(2) BNS के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया।

गिरफ्तारी की कार्यवाही:

घटना के अनावरण और आरोपी की गिरफ्तारी के लिए वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक देहरादून, पुलिस अधीक्षक ग्रामीण 2 और क्षेत्राधिकारी विकासनगर के निर्देश पर प्रभारी निरीक्षक विकासनगर के नेतृत्व में एक टीम का गठन किया गया।

टीम ने घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण कर आस-पास के सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज का गहन अध्ययन किया और सर्विलांस की मदद ली। लगातार दबिश के बाद मुखबिर की सूचना पर 28 अगस्त की रात करीब 1:30 बजे बीडीएम स्कूल के पास झाड़ियों से आरोपी शहीद पुत्र सुफीक (उम्र 34 वर्ष, निवासी विद्यापीठ मार्ग, विकासनगर) को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।
