सतौन बाज़ार में डिस्पेन्सरी के पास लंबे समय से कूड़े का ढेर जमा हो गया है। गंदगी से उठ रही दुर्गंध से स्थानीय लोगों और मरीजों को भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। मच्छरों और मक्खियों की भरमार ने संक्रामक बीमारियों का खतरा और बढ़ा दिया है। सतौन निवासी रणजीत सिंह, प्रेम तोमर, विशाल, कुलदीप सिंह ने बताया कि डिस्पेन्सरी के आसपास के रहने वाले लोग डिस्पेन्सरी की दीवार के साथ अपने घर का कूड़ा फेंक रहे हैं जिससे वहाँ कूड़े का बहुत बड़ा ढेर इकट्ठा हो गया है। इन लोगों ने बताया कि पंचायत को सफाई करने के लिए कई बार लिखित व मौखिक रूप से कह दिया गया है मगर पंचायत का सफाई कर्मी वहाँ नहीं आता है। लोंगो का कहना है कि स्वास्थ्य सुविधा देने वाली डिस्पेन्सरी के बाहर ही सफाई व्यवस्था ध्वस्त होना गंभीर लापरवाही है। स्थानीय निवासियों ने पंचायत व प्रशासन से मांग की है कि कूड़ा उठाने की उचित व्यवस्था की जाए और लोगों को भी यहाँ कूड़ा न फेंकने के लिए जागरूक किया जाए।

A pile of garbage has been piling up near the dispensary in Sataun bazaar for a long time. Local people and patients are facing a lot of trouble due to the foul smell emanating from the garbage. The abundance of mosquitoes and flies has further increased the risk of infectious diseases. Sataun residents Ranjeet Singh, Prem Tomar, Vishal, Kuldeep Singh said that people living around the dispensary are throwing their household garbage along the wall of the dispensary, due to which a huge pile of garbage has accumulated there. These people said that the Panchayat has been told several times in writing and verbally to clean up, but the Panchayat’s sanitation worker does not come there. People say that the collapse of the sanitation system outside the dispensary providing health facilities is a serious negligence. Local residents have demanded from the Panchayat and the administration that proper arrangements should be made for garbage collection and people should also be made aware not to throw garbage here.
