हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने राज्य लोकसेवा आयोग के अध्यक्ष को 48 हजार रुपये और सदस्यों को 45 हजार रुपये पेंशन देने की अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। सोमवार को कार्मिक विभाग की ओर से राजपत्र में जारी अधिसूचना में बताया गया कि आयोग के उन पूर्व अध्यक्षों और सदस्यों को बढ़ी हुई पेंशन का लाभ मिलेगा जो अपनी नियुक्ति के समय सरकारी या सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र में नौकरी नहीं कर रहे थे। संशोधन में उन व्यक्तियों को स्पष्ट रूप से शामिल नहीं किया गया है जो आयोग में नियुक्ति से पहले सरकारी या संबंधित सेवा में थे। ये व्यक्ति संशोधित नियम 11-ए के तहत बढ़ी हुई पेंशन लाभ के पात्र नहीं होंगे।

लोकसेवा आयोग (सदस्य) विनियम, 1974 के संशोधित नियम 11-ए के अनुसार, वे व्यक्ति जो अपनी नियुक्ति से पहले केंद्र या राज्य सरकार, स्थानीय प्राधिकरणों, विश्वविद्यालयों, मान्यता प्राप्त निजी स्कूलों, संबद्ध कॉलेजों या अन्य सरकारी नियंत्रित निकायों में किसी भी पद पर कार्यरत नहीं थे, अब एक निश्चित मासिक पेंशन के पात्र होंगे। पूर्व अध्यक्षों को सेवा के प्रत्येक पूर्ण वर्ष के लिए 8,000 रुपये प्रति माह और अधिकतम 48,000 रुपये प्रति माह तक मिलेंगे। पूर्व सदस्यों को सेवा के प्रत्येक पूर्ण वर्ष के लिए 7,500 रुपये प्रति माह मिलेंगे, जिसकी अधिकतम सीमा 45,000 रुपये प्रति माह होगी। इसके अलावा मूल पेंशन राशि में 6 फीसदी की वार्षिक वृद्धि लागू होगी।

The Himachal Pradesh government has issued a notification to give pension of Rs 48,000 to the chairman of the State Public Service Commission and Rs 45,000 to the members. In a notification issued in the gazette by the Personnel Department on Monday, it was told that the benefit of increased pension will be given to those former chairmen and members of the commission who were not working in the government or public sector at the time of their appointment. The amendment does not explicitly include those persons who were in government or related service before appointment to the commission. These persons will not be eligible for increased pension benefits under the amended Rule 11-A.

As per the amended Rule 11-A of the Public Service Commission (Members) Regulations, 1974, persons who were not holding any post under the Central or State Government, local authorities, universities, recognised private schools, affiliated colleges or other Government controlled bodies before their appointment will now be eligible for a fixed monthly pension. Former chairmen will get Rs 8,000 per month for each completed year of service, subject to a maximum of Rs 48,000 per month. Former members will get Rs 7,500 per month for each completed year of service, subject to a maximum of Rs 45,000 per month. Besides, an annual increase of 6 per cent in the basic pension amount will be applicable.
