भारत विकास परिषद शाखा पांवटा साहिब द्वारा राजकीय उच्च विद्यालय बहराल में सोमवार को गुरु वंदन छात्र अभिनंदन कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलन से हुई, जिसे परिषद अध्यक्ष अनिल सैनी, कार्यक्रम संयोजक अरुण शर्मा, सेवा संयोजक हरविंदर अरोड़ा, सहयोग संयोजक हेमंत जैन और अजय शर्मा ने संयुक्त रूप से संपन्न किया। कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों ने शिक्षकों को तिलक लगाकर चरण स्पर्श किया, जिसके पश्चात शिक्षकों ने पुष्प वर्षा कर आशीर्वाद दिया। इस अवसर पर मनवीर कौर ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत किया और सेवानिवृत्त अजय शर्मा ने विद्यार्थियों को शुभकामनाएं प्रेषित कीं। संयोजक अरुण शर्मा ने गुरु-शिष्य परंपरा के महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए विद्यार्थियों को आदर्श नागरिक बनने व स्वस्थ समाज निर्माण हेतु शपथ दिलाई।

इस मौके पर कक्षा 10वीं की सुखमन कौर, कक्षा 9वीं की ईशमीत कौर और सागर तोमर को उत्कृष्ट विद्यार्थी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। इनके अभिभावक अर्जुन सिंह, सुखजीत कौर और विक्की तोमर को भी सम्मानित किया गया। वहीं, वीरेंद्र शर्मा शास्त्री को उत्कृष्ट शिक्षक सम्मान प्रदान किया गया। अध्यक्ष अनिल सैनी ने सम्मानित विद्यार्थियों व शिक्षक को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि इनकी उपलब्धियां समाज को नई दिशा व प्रेरणा देंगी। कार्यक्रम के अंत में मुख्याध्यापक जीवन प्रकाश जोशी ने भारत विकास परिषद व अभिभावकों का आभार जताया। इस दौरान परिषद के पदाधिकारियों ने विद्यालय में स्थापित सामुदायिक पुस्तकालय का भी निरीक्षण किया। इस अवसर पर अनिल सैनी, अरुण शर्मा, हरविंदर अरोड़ा, हेमंत जैन, अजय शर्मा, राकेश कुमार, रणजीत कौर, आशा देवी, हरमीत कौर, मनवीर कौर, मीनाक्षी राजपूत, सुरेंद्र कौर, वीरेंद्र शर्मा, शशि कुमारी, अर्जुन सिंह, विक्की तोमर, सुखजीत कौर, मंजूरा बेगम सहित अन्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।

Bharat Vikas Parishad branch Paonta Sahib organized Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan program in Government High School Bahral on Monday. The program started with lighting of lamps, which was jointly conducted by Parishad President Anil Saini, Program Coordinator Arun Sharma, Service Coordinator Harvinder Arora, Cooperation Coordinator Hemant Jain and Ajay Sharma. In the program, the students applied tilak to the teachers and touched their feet, after which the teachers showered flowers and blessed them. On this occasion, Manveer Kaur welcomed all the guests and retired Ajay Sharma sent best wishes to the students. Coordinator Arun Sharma, while highlighting the importance of Guru-Shishya tradition, administered oath to the students to become ideal citizens and build a healthy society.

On this occasion Sukhman Kaur of class 10th, Ishmeet Kaur of class 9th and Sagar Tomar were honoured with the best student award. Their parents Arjun Singh, Sukhjit Kaur and Vicky Tomar were also honoured. Virendra Sharma Shastri was awarded the best teacher award. President Anil Saini congratulated the honoured students and teacher and said that their achievements will give new direction and inspiration to the society. At the end of the programme, Principal Jeevan Prakash Joshi thanked Bharat Vikas Parishad and parents. During this, the council officials also inspected the community library established in the school.
