उत्तरकाशी के जिलाधिकारी श्री प्रशांत आर्य ने शनिवार को स्यानाचट्टी से आगे यमुनोत्री राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने मार्ग पर भूधंसाव और भूस्खलन की दृष्टि से संवेदनशील स्थलों का जायजा लिया और संबंधित विभागों को आवश्यक सुरक्षा इंतज़ाम सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए।
जिलाधिकारी को सूचना मिली थी कि जंगलचट्टी क्षेत्र में मार्ग का लगभग 200 मीटर हिस्सा क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया है, जिससे यातायात बाधित हो रहा है। इस पर उन्होंने मौके पर पहुंचकर मार्ग से मलबा हटाने और वायरक्रेट की सहायता से सड़क की मरम्मत कर यातायात शीघ्र बहाल करने के निर्देश दिए।
वर्तमान में मौके पर एक पोकलेन मशीन एवं एक जेसीबी तैनात की गई है। जिलाधिकारी ने कार्य में तेजी लाने हेतु आवश्यकता पड़ने पर मशीनों और श्रमिकों की संख्या बढ़ाने के निर्देश भी संबंधित अधिकारियों को दिए।
उन्होंने यह भी जानकारी दी कि स्यानाचट्टी में बनी अस्थायी झील का जल स्तर कम होने के बाद अब उस क्षेत्र में आवाजाही सामान्य कर दी गई है। यमुनोत्री राजमार्ग के अन्य संवेदनशील एवं क्षतिग्रस्त स्थानों पर भी पर्याप्त संख्या में जेसीबी और पोकलेन मशीनें कार्यरत हैं।
जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि जनपद में अवरुद्ध मार्गों को यातायात के लिए शीघ्र खोलने हेतु प्रशासन की सभी टीमें पूरी तत्परता एवं प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रही हैं।

District Magistrate of Uttarkashi Shri Prashant Arya on Saturday conducted a terrestrial inspection of Yamunotri National Highway ahead of Sianachatti. During this, he reviewed the sensitive sites on the route with the point of view of landlords and landslides and necessary security arrangements to the concerned departments.Instructed to ensure. The District Magistrate was informed that about 200 meters of the route in the jungle area has been damaged, which is disrupting traffic. On this, he reached the spot and instructed to remove the debris from the route and repair the road and restore the traffic quickly. Currently a Poklen machine and a JCB have been deployed on the spot. He also informed that after the water level of the temporary lake built in Sainachatti is reduced, now the movement in that area has been made normal. Adequate number of JCB and Poklen machines are also employed at other sensitive and damaged places of Yamunotri highway. The District Magistrate said that in the districtAll the teams of the administration are working with complete readiness and commitment to open the blocked routes quickly for traffic.
