कालाअंब – नारायणगढ़ रोड पर शुक्रवार सुबह एक दर्दनाक हादसे में एक बच्ची की मौत हो गयी। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार बच्ची कालाअम्ब में स्थित एक निजी स्कूल में पढ़ती थी जब बच्ची स्कूल के सामने सड़क पार कर रही थी तो एक तेज रफ्तार ट्रक ने बच्ची को टक्कर मारकर कुचल दिया। टक्कर इतनी जबरदस्त थी कि बच्ची की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। बच्ची की पहचान आराध्य कक्षा चौथी के रूप में हुई है। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों की माने तो हादसे के तुरंत बाद ट्रक चालक मौके से फरार हो गया। बच्ची की मौत से गुस्साए लोगों ने रोष प्रकट करते हुए सड़क जाम कर दिया और स्कुल प्रशासन के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी की। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने बताया कि हादसे के तुरंत बाद ट्रक चालक गाड़ी छोड़कर फरार हो गया।

घटना से इलाके में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। स्थानीय लोगों का आरोप है कि स्कूल के सामने से रोज़ाना सैकड़ों बच्चे सड़क पार करते हैं, लेकिन यहां न तो फुटओवर ब्रिज है और न ही ज़ेब्रा क्रॉसिंग की पर्याप्त व्यवस्था है।  लोगों ने बताया कि पहले भी स्कूल प्रबंधन को इस बारे में अवगत करवाया गया था लेकिन इस समस्या को लेकर कोई कार्रवाई अमल में नहीं लाई गयी।  उन्होंने कहा कि स्कूल प्रबंधन से उपरोक्त समस्या को लेकर हाईवे अथॉरिटी से बात करने बारे कई बार कहा गया लेकिन स्कूल प्रबंधन ने इस ओर ध्यान नहीं दिया गया। जिसका ख़मियाना आज एक नन्ही बच्ची को अपनी जान चुकाकर देना पड़ा। सूचना मिलते ही कालाअंब पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और हालात काबू में लिए। शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया। पुलिस ने ट्रक चालक की तलाश शुरू कर दी है।

Road accident in Kala Amb: Fourth grade student dies after being hit by a truck.

A girl died in a tragic accident on Kala Amb – Naraingarh Road on Friday morning. According to the information received, the girl was studying in a private school located in Kala Amb. When the girl was crossing the road in front of the school, a speeding truck hit and crushed her. The collision was so severe that the girl died on the spot. The girl has been identified as Aaradhaya, a student of class 4th. If eyewitnesses are to be believed, the truck driver fled from the spot immediately after the accident. Angry people with the death of the girl blocked the road to express their anger and raised slogans against the school administration. Eyewitnesses said that immediately after the accident, the truck driver abandoned the vehicle and fled.

The incident created panic in the area. Local people allege that hundreds of children cross the road in front of the school daily, but there is neither a foot over bridge nor adequate zebra crossing arrangements. People told that the school management was informed about this earlier also but no action was taken regarding this problem. They said that the school management was asked several times to talk to the highway authority regarding the above problem but the school management did not pay any attention to it. Due to which a little girl had to pay the price by losing her life today. On getting the information, Kala Amb police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Police have started searching for the truck driver.
