नई दिल्ली:मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी से शिष्टाचार भेंट की। इस दौरान उन्होंने उत्तरकाशी जनपद के धराली क्षेत्र सहित राज्य के विभिन्न हिस्सों में हाल ही में आई आपदा और अतिवृष्टि के कारण सड़कों व पुलों को हुए भारी नुकसान की जानकारी दी।

मुख्यमंत्री ने विशेष रूप से धराली क्षेत्र में बुनियादी ढांचे को पहुंचे व्यापक नुकसान पर चिंता जताई और प्रभावित सड़कों व पुलों की शीघ्र मरम्मत तथा पुनर्निर्माण के लिए केंद्र सरकार से सहयोग का अनुरोध किया।

उन्होंने राज्य के अन्य प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का भी उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि अतिवृष्टि से कई स्थानों पर सड़क संपर्क बाधित हुआ है, जिससे जनजीवन प्रभावित हुआ है। ऐसे में केंद्र सरकार से त्वरित सहायता की आवश्यकता है।

केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने मुख्यमंत्री को हर संभव सहयोग का आश्वासन देते हुए कहा कि केंद्र सरकार उत्तराखंड के विकास और आपदा प्रबंधन के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
