सिरमौर जिले के औद्योगिक क्षेत्र कालाअंब में आज एक सरिया फैक्ट्री में भयानक आग लग गई। इस हादसे में एक कर्मचारी की मौके पर ही जलकर मौत हो गई, जबकि एक अन्य कर्मचारी बुरी तरह झुलस गया। घायल को तुरंत अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहाँ उसका इलाज चल रहा है। बताया जा रहा है कि फैक्ट्री में अचानक आग लग गई, जिसके बाद चारों ओर अफरा-तफरी मच गई। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और अग्निशमन विभाग की टीमें तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचीं और आग बुझाने और राहत-बचाव का काम शुरू किया। आग इतनी भीषण थी कि इसे काबू करने में काफी मशक्कत करनी पड़ी।
प्रारंभिक जांच में आग लगने का कारण शॉर्ट सर्किट बताया जा रहा है, हालांकि पुलिस अभी भी मामले की गहनता से जांच कर रही है ताकि आग लगने की असली वजह का पता चल सके। सिरमौर के अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक योगेश रोल्टा ने इस घटना की पुष्टि की है। उन्होंने बताया कि हादसे में एक व्यक्ति की जान गई है और दूसरा अस्पताल में भर्ती है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है और मामले की आगे की कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।
