डॉ. वाईएस परमार राजकीय स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय नाहन में वनस्पति विज्ञान विभाग, परिसर सौंदर्यीकरण एवं स्वच्छता समिति के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में पौधरोपण अभियान का आयोजन हुआ। इसका शुभारंभ प्राचार्य डॉ. विभव कुमार शुक्ला ने एक गुलाब का पौधा रोपित कर किया। इस दौरान मुख्य प्रवेश द्वार के खुले प्रांगण में गुलाब, एलोवेरा और सदाबहार के पौधों का रोपण किया गया। इस गतिविधि में लगभग 50 छात्र-छात्राओं ने सक्रिय एवं उत्साहपूर्ण भागीदारी की।

विद्यार्थियों ने न केवल पौधरोपण किया, अपितु परिसर में उगी हुई खरपतवारों का उन्मूलन भी किया, जिससे महाविद्यालय परिसर और अधिक स्वच्छ, हरित एवं आकर्षक बन सका। कार्यक्रम की संयोजक प्रो. धनमंती कंडासी रहीं। इस अवसर पर डॉ. जाहिद अली मलिक, प्रो. नवदीप शाह, रवि, चंचल, उप-प्राचार्य डॉ. देवराज शर्मा की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही। सभी अतिथियों ने विद्यार्थियों को पर्यावरण संरक्षण, स्वच्छता तथा प्राकृतिक संतुलन के प्रति सजग एवं जागरूक रहने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

Plantation campaign organized at Dr. YS Parmar Government Post Graduate College, Nahan

A plantation drive was organized in Dr. YS Parmar Government Post Graduate College, Nahan under the joint aegis of the Department of Botany, Campus Beautification and Cleanliness Committee. It was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Vibhav Kumar Shukla by planting a rose plant. During this, rose, aloe vera and evergreen plants were planted in the open courtyard of the main entrance. About 50 students participated actively and enthusiastically in this activity.

The students not only planted saplings but also uprooted the weeds growing in the campus, due to which the college campus became more clean, green and attractive. The coordinator of the program was Prof. Dhanmanti Kandasi. On this occasion, Dr. Zahid Ali Malik, Prof. Navdeep Shah, Ravi, Chanchal, Vice Principal Dr. Devraj Sharma were present. All the guests inspired the students to be aware and conscious about environmental protection, cleanliness and natural balance.
